Seibon CW II hood on 06 WRX

So I just got my Seibon CW II hood in last night and I installed it. Only took my about 30 minutes and it was a piece of cake. VERY easy install. Came out nice! No shipping damage or anything, so I was happy. But I had a question. I installed the winshield washer spray nozzles and they won't fit all the way in. Does anyone know the best way to make bigger holes without damaging the hood? Any help would be appreciated.... Oh yeah, and lemme know what you think about the hood :)

the second set works, maybe paint that mesh in the scoop black? looks weird silver.

wow, that is a BIG FREAKING SCOOP. put masking tape on the hood and drill slowly with a drill bit. let the bit do the work, don't push on it. or...you could get some LED squirter lights that are universal fit...those would be the pimpness...hahaha

i say take out the mesh. try drilling the hole a little bit bigger ?

Yeah, I thought about that. But I just don't know how it'd look. Could anyone photoshop it? :) Or does anyone have one?

Just mask everything off, and paint it flat black.
As for the holes, use a marking spray, and trim with a dremel where it marks. Eventually it'll drop in. ;)

Trim ur nozzles and glue them down w/ crazy glue.Thats what i did w/mine.

yeah, the more I look at it the more I think I should paint the mash black. Think I'll be doing that this weekend :) I'll be sure to post pics. I wanted to black out the headlights also...

If you drill into the carbon fiber use soap and water while drilling to lessen the chances of your hood cracking...

I had the same problem with the nozzles fitting on my VIS hood. I honestly couldn't be bothered, and never installed them.

I like the hood by itself...by on the two cars I've seen it on I think the scoop should be smaller, and the side vents bigger. The proportions just look a little off. Too bad, because I wanted this hood for my 06. Hope you like it, I've always been a CF fan.

the mesh is HIDEOUS!! i finally took out the mesh from my CWII hood yesterday too.. looks 100x better except now you can see my tiny stock TMIC.. =/

Yeah, so I got the chance to paint the hood scoop mesh black today and I bought and painted some new windshield washer nozzles. Great recommendations! It came out great! The mesh looks WAY better and seems to go better with the whole color combo of the car. I only painted the hood scoop mesh, but the little vents will get painted this weekend....... Along with my healights :banana: I will post pics soon to show how the scoop mesh and the washer nozzles came out. Thanks for the input everyone!

Here ya go. Painted the mesh a flat black. Should I put a clear coat or something to give it somewhat of a shiny look? (I also bought and painted some cheapo led headlight washer nozzles and painted them flat black also. Shoud I also add a clear coat to it?)
