red and black subie?

hey. what do you guys think. My friend has a red 04 wrx and she got a CF hood and CF trunk. what if i swapped my JBP hood and trunk with her red, and had a red hood/trunk on a JBP wrx? i just wanna try it for a weekend and see. has anyone else done a swap like that? not carbon fiber but another wrx color.

The hood might not look too bad. With the trunk, I don't know, I'd have to see it, but probably not so good.

mybe if you had other stuff to blend the red and black together like vinyls or something....maybe swaping out painted side skirts to :P ...stock for stock i dont know i agree with pityr's comments about the junk cars :D

If you painted it with the Red coming down about 3 inches lower than the side windows and separated the black and red with a silver pin stripe it might look pretty cool.

I also have a bad feeling that you guys might be right and everyone is gonna think i got in a wreck,but if hood, hoodscoop, trunk, and wing are all red, all on a black car i think might look pretty sweet....well see....

This is what carbon fibre parts look like to me (on any car other than maybe black).

if you want to try this maybe some transitional color at the edges of the hood and trunk and perhaps painting the roof to match? im interesting to see how this looks in the end. i dont think youll be able to avoid the "car was crashed then junkyard parts added" effect with straight contrast, but ihell its worth a shot for the weekend

I think a reverse of that would be pretty awesome. The one that subiegal posted would be cool if it didn't have the added black...stuff I guess you call it...up the sides. Just a normal 2 tone would've done it much better.
