Apparently you miss understood my email to you. The antenna plate will work on the older imprezas. It was the older legacys that it wasn't compatable with. Hope this helps.

ah, GREAT! I did miss read the email :/ Thank you for your efforts in test fitting them.
Black covers are not in. I did not seem to receive enough of a demand for them to warrant the added expenditure. If I had 10 people that are DEFINTE buyers (i.e. deposit) then I can havce them in hand in 2.5 weeks time. Powder coated black with attachment screws. Please drop me an email :) I will see about powder coating an IMPREZA one that i currently have here. It is not economical for me to have them powder coated and then engraved since they need to be done in lots of 30.

There wasn't enough demand to warrant a seperate run of blank black ones, or black ones with engraving through the powder coating. If you would like a stealth IMPREZA or WRX I am willing to run a few of the current plates down to be coated. I'll have one prototype by Wednesday to ensure the quality is still top notch after coating, i.e. letters aren't filled in.

Overall it came out great. On the other hand the WRX one did not fair that well :/ We're going to see what it looks like when when engraved through the powdercoating for future projects. I.E. if it burrs or chips that won't do us any good. Lastly, the attachment screws are being coated as I type. This is about as stealth as it gets. Plus you still retain Subaru pride ;)

the wrx does not have as wide of etching channels in it. Parts of it filled up a bit. It is not terrible looking, but nothing that I would want Innovative Automotive attached to ;)

hehe, not sure why ya like the blanks, but I'll see what I can do. 2-3 people doesn't quite justify a run of 30 (min size) :/ Form a grup buy on them and I'll do the blank/powdercoated for $30 shipped a piece. Right now powdercoated ones are selling for $30 plus S&H. Just a thought. Minimum people required is 10 definites. Just a thought, now someone run with it ;)

I'll pop over 5 of the Impreza ones to the powdercoater this week.
What about the screws? Keep them bare stainless or try to coat them in black too? He is doing 4 screws for me now and I"ll test fit them to make sure the allens still fit in.
