I'm going to try the chime delete tonight to confirm it works for the 2015.

Double confirmation on the chime delete with the 30/30 method for the 2015. Good stuff and thank you!

Does anyone know if the 30/30 works on the 2014 wrx? Tried it but no luck.

Try it again. So, get in, close door, turn to accessory, in and out 30 clicks, turn ignition off (do not open door) turn back on and you should get 6 chimes. Turn it off. Next time you turn her on, you should be chime free!

I can't believe this crazy black magic worked but it did! Reminds me of Contra. :) Good luck and have faith.

Sorry to bring up a slightly old thread but I've had a problem when I remove my DRL box behind the glove box my battery light on my dash lights up and when I plug it back in it goes away. Has anyone else has this problem or know why that would happen?

I just bought my first subaru (06 WRX Wagon) last week. Plan on attempting the snorkus delete this weekend. itll be my first mod, and a good opportunity to spend some quality bonding time with the car. thanks for the info

Just finished with the chime elimination and removed the intake silencer on my 2007 sti. After removing my glovebox and not finding the harness for the drl I did some more research and found that for the 07 you need to cut a wire under the dash to eliminate drl. Not a fan of cutting wires so they will stay for now. Thanks for the awesome write up!!
