Steven,

We don't have any space in our room, but you should pop over to the ETR board and ask if anyone else is looking for a roomate. We have 15 people going and I have lost track of who is with who.

I was looking forward to some 'Vette competition, especially since the weather looks good.
DrBiggly 02-20-2007 07:38 PM

STS2 seems to be the most popular category in ST* by a pretty good margin. STS, STX, and STU all have what seem to be a fairly small number of entries.

Should be an interesting class to watch. :)

-Biggly (Yes, I just now found this thread)
Crash477 02-20-2007 07:43 PM

Yeah STX has what, 3 people! lol STU has 10 I think, so it should be fun! I cannot wait for this weekend!
alltracin 02-20-2007 07:58 PM

17 is few entries now?

#6 STS- we're going to get rocked in our stock swaybar blown koni neon
Chiketkd 02-20-2007 08:05 PM

^
Good luck Justin! You should have some solid competition in STS. Knock 'em dead!
Scooby South 02-20-2007 08:56 PM

ok...some updated info...

-Practice is going to be from 11 to 3...according to the event chair....not 10-2 like on the site...(they are actually going to try and run as late as they can before they get told to setup for the course so people can walk)

-Practice runs will be $2 ea...

-ALL Tech will be held at the site...Fri, and Sat morn.

-All updated decals will be on-site

-I still have magnet material

-I will have a jack, All Suby related tools, and a code scanner/reset computer and my laptop with internet access at the hotel...just in case any of you guys need it..:)

-I will also bring extra lugs nuts...and some spare studs just in case...

-I will need race gas upon arrival..(Hopefully that is nearby.., toluene will work in a pinch..;))

-don't forget Run groups and work assingment show up on SCCA Site on Wed...

I am sure there will be something else....but for now...thats it..

Bill
Crash477 02-20-2007 09:28 PM

I would liek to get some of the magnets from you!

You dont have to count....the entry list give a total--IIRC in the upper right hand corner of the list/page.

Last time I saw it, it was 17........

You come into this thread WLTW and all----and start causing trouble...

edit----------it is down to 15....I notice that Heyward and Mitch are no longer on the list.. :(
wrx2.0 555 02-21-2007 07:42 AM
-Practice runs will be $2 ea...

Bill
This has changed also....

Cindy posted on scca.com that practice run fees havent changed in like 10 years so they upped it to $3 each or 4 for $10.
Effective immediatly, Test & Tune tickets will cost $3 or 4 for $10. The old fees had been in place for approximately 10 years. The additional revenue will fund various programs to benefit regions hosting National events.

Weird, there are 15 now as I went back and counted rather than glanced at it. I notice less Civics than usual though, more diversity. :)

After weeks of last minute preparation, even up until wednesday night, Mike Kings STS2 CRX possibly spun a bearing during Thursday practice.

He's now going to run my STS Civic in STX since I already had a co-driver for STS.
Pacobeagle 02-23-2007 09:58 AM

Well, due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be attending the Dixie National.

I haven't been able to close on my home in Fl which now puts me in a bind cause I just drove up to Mobile yesterday with all of my stuff. The lady's mortgage company couldn't approve her after two days of waiting and them requiring more information. Talk about a nightmare.

Jose

<Goes off to pray to the autox gods that there might be some way to close on my house today and go to this event>

You can live in your car, but you can't race your house.

Also -- good luck to all the subie driver's in attendance, everybody take home some wood....

Good luck and may your axles stay strong..

Actually it was Rob Faulkner driving Charles' car. Rob is a madman, but the car is a killa. If Rob drives it this weekend he'll win by a second with sand in the trunk.

Bill - I didn't think the car pushed. I thought it felt good except for the diff. Fix that and you'll be well ahead. We've got our work cut out for us with Jason Tipple in a S2000 on a transition course. This is basically an airport course, so we may need the rain on Sunday...
Crash477 02-23-2007 11:06 PM

Well we are here! Went to dinner and had some dirnks.. but on the way here I descovered that I had too much toe out.. and my front tires are shot!!!! SO I will be scurrying around tomorrow to find some tires, and someone with a toe gauge..
