Hockenheim: Let's try this again. part 1

donjuan 07-19-2001 12:22 PM

Hockenheim: Let's try this again.

Ease up Dave....we got deleted.

Anyway...I stick by my predictions. Williams dominates, Ferrari happy to coast along, score points, ease into the championship with a couple wins later this season. Mika shows up again, DC crashes out and embarrasses himself with a temper tantrum in the pits! :)

Pole: Ralf Schumacher
1. Ralf Schumacher
2. Juan Pablo Montoya
3. Mika Hakkinen
4. Michael Schumacher
5. Rubens Barrichello
6. Nick Heidfeld

One of my favorite GP...REALLY wish I could be there :(
Arioch 07-19-2001 01:33 PM

sorry, my bad..... :(

same for me...

since dc's season is over (virtually) here are mine....
1) mika - he's going to go on a 4 win streak
2) ralf - home - town boy shows up his older brother early on, then ms bites it.
3) kimi - his first of MANY podiums
4) dc - he has a very strong race, but he blows it in the pits again, excedes the speed limit and has another 10 second stop and go.
5) rubens
6) chili dog
that's about it.

and no smack talking this time....

donjuan 07-19-2001 01:35 PM

kewl

Heh...nothing wrong with a little friendly razzing, I think we just went a bit over the top there :) :)

You know DC is a goon! :)
Arioch 07-19-2001 02:57 PM

yeah, but i really thought he wouldn't choke this year..... he was looking so strong at the start of the season.

even you have to admit that!

-dave
donjuan 07-19-2001 02:59 PM

Yeah I know, just giving you crap!:) I was impressed with him at the start too, thought he might make a real run for it.
Arioch 07-19-2001 03:48 PM

would have made for a more interesting usgp. schumi will have it in the bag by then, and after that all the races seem a little more dull... it's like seeing the ending of a movie after only seeing the first half, and then having to watch the last half, already knowing the ending... :( no fun...

-dave
donjuan 07-19-2001 03:53 PM

!

yeah i know what you mean. It's a little more interesting for me because I'm hoping to see Williams move into 2nd in team points. With DC's slump I thought they had 2nd in the bag, but then Mika wins one. It's hard to be upset about that though, I like Mika even though I want to see Williams beat them. I was glad he got his game back. I think it's very possible that Ralf and JPM could put up 16 in Germany though...

I've had alot of fun making our crazy-ass predictions on here this year though. And of course making fun of Chili Dog.
Zahnster 07-19-2001 06:29 PM

I'm really disappointed in our UK bretheren. They spent over two minutes on Speedvision showing flags people were holding up all over the field. No chili dog. No grapped tired. What happened?!?!?

Anyways....what does it matter?

"Game over man.....game over...."
johnfelstead 07-19-2001 07:01 PM

stop dissin my breathren dude. :p LOL

We were busy doing stuff rather than watchin DC screw up again.
I was driving round Rockingham on Saturday and driving round the lake district on Sunday having a blast in my Westie.

I am tellin ya, as soon as DC gets a new girfriend he goes to pot.

Going OT for a sec. I saw your ilustrious president on the Box tonight. Why does he remind me of a chimp concentrating real hard on peeling a Banana?? Is he really as dense as he looks?? :D LOL

As for the way he salutes the service man who guards his chopper, that guys seen too many movies, i almost die of embarased laughter every time i see that. :D
SCRAPPYDO 07-19-2001 07:01 PM

SpinAll4 07-20-2001 10:33 AM

I would LOVe to see the Williams duo dual it out for a win!

If it isnt warm enough, I predict that Williams will send out Ralf in the spare car for some warm-up laps before the race--- little does anyone know, but the spare car has been outfitted with a massive broiler mechanism on the underside of the car, thus superheating the racing line and in turn-providing the Michelins with the proper grip for an easy win.

But seriously folks
Ralf
Mika
Juan Polishesoffanothercaseofc'dogs Montoya
Mikey
Kimi
Rubens
Jos AlwaysStoppen

Look out for some Jarno vs. DC nascar style racin'
SCRAPPYDO 07-20-2001 11:02 AM

After a disappointing finish at Silverstone, Jarno Trulli, and his teammates in the Jordan pits discuss the probable cause why their large Type R sticker did not function properly. Rumor has it that since the inception of the RSX, they should have used a Type S sticker instead.

Eddie Jordan, perplexed over the mix up was left in a quandry. He had already signed the contract with Honda to sport the Type R badge for the rest of the season. Knowing without the Type S sticker the rest of the season would be a total wash! He acted quickly! He quickly auctioned off dates with the Jordan Girls, to finance the crucial decals. Eddie Irvine was reported to have spent millions alone!

With the application of the S decal along with the already in place R decal, a large red RS adorned the side of the car. Well immediately Jordan picked up Subaru as a sponser. Pleased with the extra income brought in , Eddie Jordan agreed to install a codriver seat and raise the cars suspension six inches.

Frentzen and Trulli were adamate about the ride height being too large, but agreed that the ability to carry a mechanic on board will help them finish races. Subaru driver Richard Burn also had a driver meeting with the two Jordan pilots and explained that being this high up would be a distinct advantage being about see more of the track as well as having the ability to run over other cars that dont leave you room in corners!

Frentzen and Trulli immediately saw the logic in this action and further requeted rally tires be installed on the vehicles to help avoid punctures while running over fins and suspension parts!

Stay tuned for further reports from the jordan pics!

2. The Flying Finn
3. The Choke
4. Jr. Schu
5. Kimi "Ass Man" Raikonnen
6. Heinz Harold

Justin
J Colman 07-20-2001 01:46 PM

Where is everyone?
SpinAll4 07-20-2001 03:00 PM

We're here, just chillin, cuz the race is still a week away.

ps- it's spelled 'Da Choke' :D

FYI I just read a cool article on how Just Puree`d Meat gears up for a GP.

He actually goes to his garage and lays down a string of Chili Dogs that represent the track layout. The amount of chili mounding depends on the severity of the corner. High entry speed chicanes, for example, merit quite alot of chili. Straights get the 'normal' amount of chili on eachdog. He then flops face down onto a mechanics' creeper and proceeds to eat hisway thru the course. Only stopping to eat some pork rinds on the side, or to wash his mouth out with gravy.

Go Big Doggie!

Just Puree'd Meat
J Colman 07-20-2001 03:29 PM

hahahahahahahahaha

Does he eat the track when he's done going over it?

Arioch 07-20-2001 05:42 PM

 @ scrappydo
Fred Zaplitny 07-20-2001 11:02 PM

Chili Dog!!!!

How many times do I have to say it before it comes true?.....

Montoya will win!!!!!!!

I hope Schumy crashes and burns!!!! (I don't hope he gets hurt though, of course)
SCRAPPYDO 07-21-2001 02:59 AM

Fred I admire your loyalty! Its as true to Williams as mine is to Jordan, and I cant tell you when the last time we won a race!!!

More info to come...

Zahnster 07-21-2001 01:19 PM

Oh come on...we all know Jenson Button is gonna win, after stealing the latest prototype Renault engine for the race.
SpinAll4 07-21-2001 02:16 PM

hehehehehhehe RALPHIE!
ZFEVER 07-21-2001 02:20 PM

QUALIFYING:
MIKE
SHU JR.
MIKA
DC
JPM
JARNO
KIMI

Mike gets pole because it's in his contract, but the day will be Ralph's, as he takes the lead on the start and holds it to the checkered flag. Jaun Pablo, his Williams newly outfitted with a CLILI DOG hanging on a string six inches in front of his car, will dominate off the start and be riding on Ralph's heels all the way to the finish.
Mike will finish 3rd because it was predicted by ancient sumerian text in the latter half of the 13th century.
Mika will have a solid race, but his concentration will be flustered because he is thinking of witty things to say in the post race interview. "I am how you say, 'Over the moon." He will finish 4th. KIMI, concentrating on the pretty buttons on his steering wheel,, will not notice that he has just simultaneously passed in between Jarno and DC, prompting them to crash into each other.
Meanwhile, in the pits, the Benneton crew is practicing plate spinning, Ruebens is raiding JPM's chili-dog stash, and Richard Burns is mackin' on Mika's woman.

again, thats
:RALPH
JUAN
MIKE
MIKA
KIMI
JOS (because hes cool)
johnfelstead 07-21-2001 03:46 PM

Its that time again.

The rather beautiful Mellinder Messenger. She's got brains too. :D

Fred Zaplitny 07-21-2001 04:18 PM

Yeah John she's real pretty and all, but that shot isn't quite living up to the standards we've set here before. Maybe if she was in a Lycra bodysuit bent over the back of a car........
johnfelstead 07-21-2001 04:31 PM

Mellinder has got class Fred.

She hosts a TV show here in the UK.

Got a great personality. Works for me anyway. :D
Zahnster 07-21-2001 06:54 PM

Freds got a point there....
donjuan 07-23-2001 12:39 PM

moron...

I wonder if some crazy fool will run out onto the track again last year. That blew me away last year. Maybe Marques will show up and run out onto the circuit and Badoer will run over him.

Ralf wins...Chili Dog makes it 1-2. Go Williams.
J Colman 07-23-2001 01:00 PM

Big Schumi all the way, this is the day he ties Prost.
Maybe someone will do cartwheels across the track this weekend
donjuan 07-23-2001 03:25 PM

Not this week.

Nah, Ralf wins i'm tellin ya...

more F1 eye candy...i gotta say...i'm a Williams fan through and through, but Jordan is the team to beat as far as pitbabes.

J Colman 07-23-2001 03:29 PM

johnfelstead 07-23-2001 04:12 PM

OI, dont blame me. ;)

I am still in love with that Hawaiian tropic girl from LeMans though. She was just stunning.

I just realised tonight, i am gonna miss this race.
I am driving round the Nurburgring again this weekend.

Leave friday afternoon and arive home sunday night/monday morning.

Oh what a drag. ;) LOL

Told you Mellinder has class. :D
J Colman 07-23-2001 04:26 PM

I suppose that means that we will be getting a War and Peace sized summary of your weekend.

Youre a lucky git, you know that, dont you!

Anyway, have fun, and take care.

Justin
johnfelstead 07-23-2001 04:38 PM

OK back on topic ;)

Gotta be ralph or chilli dog for this one i think.
J Colman 07-23-2001 04:47 PM

Their selling Ultima's in this country now, I was looking at their website around the same time I was inquiring at Alamo Motorsports about info on a Westie.

Justin

Oh, it will definately be a big Schuey day on Sunday. :)

J Colman 07-24-2001 08:57 AM

Justin
donjuan 07-24-2001 08:59 AM

Did Minardi ever find their missing monkey??
J Colman 07-24-2001 09:06 AM

Yeah, Heinz Harold had it.
donjuan 07-24-2001 09:42 AM

HEH!

SCRAPPYDO
donjuan 07-24-2001 10:27 AM

Yeah it could happen...and Minardi monkeys could fly out of my ass-itch suppression system :D

Heh...even if you do make it on the stand...it'll be a step down from Ralf and I :p :p

J Colman 07-24-2001 10:39 AM

I have been on the pace lately, I will rule at the high speed Hockenheimring.

Justin
SCRAPPYDO 07-24-2001 02:53 PM

Excuse me, have any of you seen a large turbo charger laying around?

I seems to have misplaced it. It was bright yellow, with a B&H on it. It has a large picture of a shark eating a mercedes and BMW..  :D

IF you find it please call me at 1-GO-JORDAN-GO

J Colman 07-24-2001 03:10 PM

Hahahahahahahahaha, your gonna need all the help you can get
donjuan 07-24-2001 03:13 PM

what if...

be careful Justin. He may have those Jordan pit girls (see above) stand where we can see them to try to distract us. It won't work Scrappydo!!!!
J Colman 07-24-2001 03:14 PM

I've got erja, or whatever her name is
donjuan 07-24-2001 03:17 PM

Good point...but bad news for me...JPM's girl is funk. I'm trading up...
J Colman 07-24-2001 03:32 PM

Can we see a pic?
Fred Zaplitny 07-24-2001 08:58 PM

I thought JPM could do better personally, but hey love is blind. She is kind of cute I guess. Just not what I would call F-1 caliber. Of course JPM is F-1 caliber! Chili Dogs and Champagne anyone?
They will be served at Hockenhiem!

:D
donjuan 07-25-2001 08:02 AM

can't find one

I can't seem to find the pic...dunno where it went.

You guys see that Frentzen got canned?? Jordan is trying to make a move to put me in his car, but I told them they're gonna have to stick with Zonta, I'm busy....unless maybe that Jordan brunette is involved....
J Colman 07-25-2001 08:55 AM

Hahahaha, Scrappy needs a new teammate.
donjuan 07-25-2001 08:57 AM

I kinda wonder what happened, I alway thought Frentzen was pretty good. The article just said there was a disagreement after Silverstone and Frentzen is suing Jordan...
J Colman 07-25-2001 09:13 AM

I was reading that everyone was shocked because they credit Frentzen with Jordan's huge success in 1999, when he was fighting for the championship. He delivered 3rd right into their laps, and now they fire him, sucks. I liked old Heinz, I am sure he will go somewhere else
