Nice. Hopefully I won't need any of those, but I am giving some thought to running in AS until the SP classing issue is resolved. However, if I become convinced that the car can compete in BSP, I'll move tomorrow. I'm doing the best job of convincing myself now...
BTW, does anyone know how to get in touch with Bob Tunell?

It only looks like I have about 1/2" of room between the tire and the rear strut, and that's with the car parked.
What suspension is on that black STI?

The door is obviously modified and he didnt get protested for it. I guess you could just claim that its fender. [/B][/QUOTE]
This is a little late in the thread, and far be it from me to support that tuner, but the only modification to the door was a piece of flaring added on top of the stock door to make it blend in with the rear fender flares. The stock door is intact beneath the additional molding. When the rear door on the car is open it looks kind of funky because the part of the door with the molding is like an inch thick.

It's the Ground Control adjustable sleeve setup... fully raised in the rear and fully dropped in the front (funny how it worked out that way)

What about 255/40/17 tires? They are a better match for overall diameter, and lord knows the gearing in the STI is already short enough.
Also, what fog light kit is on that black STI?

The 255/40 Kumho is a good race tire. The 245/40 makes a good street tire though.
Those are the JDM foglights..

I was only speaking of street tires.
I think the 255/40/17 would probably be useless on the 17x8 rim, as it would probably be too pinched to put any more rubber down than the 245/40/17.

That is what I was thinking. Rule says no modification to the stock door etc but mounting holes are allowed for mounting of body kits.......
