very cool. someone else had done this but i don't think he was as concerned about where exactly the projector sat, and it was noticable that it was a little bit deeper in the headlight than the H1 projectors were. it's pretty apparent that you're making that bracket not just to work, but to position the projector closer to the front.
looking forward to the finished product!

it has projectors, but its an H1 bulb.

awsome headlights!! keep up the good work!
| Bboy AJ | 12-04-2006 09:14 PM |
So, still down on that free time? Haha. Looking nice.
If I ever wanted S2k lights in my car instead of the STI swap you did, what would the upgrade price be? Just wondering, doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

what makes the s2000 projectors so special?
| LightWerkz | 12-04-2006 10:41 PM |
Rare....Super Wide...Sharp....Intense color at cutoff...
....making them the best single xenons out on the martket currently. (that will fit into the impreza w/o serious modifications and retaining stock aiming screws :)

so i guess the tsx isnt so great afterall
| LightWerkz | 12-04-2006 10:44 PM |
TSX is is great bang for the buck I always say. Perfect for the HID enthusiast that just wants an upgrade from their current setup. They produce some great color, and have pretty good distance. The width could be better, but already a huge upgrade from the stock 06 projector or reflector housings found on the 04/05.
But for someone who wants to have the best from the start, and has deep pockets, the S2k's are simply stunning.

Man... I think my '04 has the best headlights I've ever seen. I can't imagine how they could actually be better.
But if I still had a bug-eye, you'd get my money. I just can't justify the price over already good headlights, even if they'd end up great.
