uh...arn't show cars supposed to be unique?
Lambo doors barely look good on lambos.
If your buddy wants to show his car up, ricer mods are not the way to go. How about he even out all the body gaps, maybe chop the hood and channel the body. Go old skool with it. I have never seen a chopped and channeled impreza. Showing a car is all about origionality. Lambo doors are not origional.

there is a guy running lambos on a bugeye, with suicide doors as well. actually doesn't look terrible... although i still wouldn't do it. it was in a england mag, max power. i cant find a picture of it.

Im not sure how long it would last. I have seen lots of lambo doors on tons of different cars, scissor doors as well. Scissor doors only open so far and then swing up (like the pic of that care above), it also hits the inner front fender if it is too shallow of a fender, also braces would be needed for a subee, they are not made for Scissor doors. I have also seen lambo doors on a car after a period of time, the roof needs to be re-enforced to sustain that weight after excessive use (purly for show), not really for everyday use, un less the car was designed for that specific door.

Although tarded...one thing I do like about lambo doors is not having to have room to swing the door open. I'd imagine it would need less than a foot of clearance on the side...careful of what's above though.

I don't condone useless mod's, I have other priorities set on my car that are truly worth while for my car and I and no one else. I told my friend I would help him out. He looks at this mod as a way to score points at the shows he attends. He wants to leave the exterior of his body the way it is. But had interest in the Varis rear diffuser. I listed all the names they call theses doors in post #1 because when you search I thought it would lead to the most help his way. What I think is the true help has already been spoken such as the reasons not to do it and the likes of them in the Subaru community.

actually the camber is perfectly fine, its an airbag suspension.

if your friend wants to score some orignality points at shows or whatever he wants to do then go for something truly unique. drop a butt load of money and make the doors completely custom. maybe make the entire sides of the car all one door and have it motorize up delorian style or something just absolutely crazy. thats the kind of stuff that wins shows IMHO. it has to do with time effort and skill spent in the project..not how many bolt-ons it has....
