I'm going to assume that was some kind of vain attempt to discredit me Jon- it was certainly as pathetic as it was vain. If it wasn't well, my bad. Dear god,...........I guess I should have expected that APC would do this, they make those "Altezzas" for just about anything. Ahhhhhhh some people have no taste at all, might as well just slap on some Yo Samety Sam " Back Off!! " mud flaps, goddy chrome fender trim, Tazmanian Devil windsheild sticker and paint one windsheild wiper yellow and stick it in the middle of the windsheild. Oh almost forgot a VTEC or Type R sticker or three.

Now if only they focused their attention to things that people ACTUALLY WANT, like the STI style headlights (as in the pic above)... THEN they might have something to show off. I don't want to pay someone (TaiChi, resident JDM parts hawker) 1000$ for steeenkin headlights that aren't even HID (I would if they were HID btw).

I really like it! And I like the whole car, with the exception of the vinyl graphics.
For those of you that don't like it, perhaps this is an incentive to make your car faster so you won't have to look at these tail-lights :lol:
And we can do without puke references or anything like that. I am totally with Brian on locking this thread should it get out of hand.

"no they are the JDM HIDs", "oh.."i say.
he asks "have you seen what we have done the the rear of the car"..
i respond "yes they are hidious" ..
he is taken back.. by my statement..
he points out that the red wing-things on the side of the tail lights are just stickers on the inside of the lense to keep people from copying their designs,
then he says "if you have any more ideas send me an e-mail, i am so-an-so the president of APC" and hands me his business card
so floating around in my sema paper junk i have the e-mail address for the president of APC :)

My opinion counts....
The taillights are weak. It's been done into the ground. It was a cool idea when they first surfaced a couple of years ago. Personally I don't think any car can get away with them unless they have a white car.
I bet APC told Super Street they were putting them on the car and SS had to agree. The car is meant to sit on the showroom floor. Heck, the thing probably weighs another 400 pounds by now!
I still don't get why people put stickers on their cars or other manufacturer decals. I drink Coke when I drive but you don't see me taping a a 2 liter label to my door do you?:lol: :lol:

PM the email address to me, I want to let him know that I want the JDM style headlights, and so do like 1/3 of the WRX'rs on this board from what it seems :)
I know projector eclipse headlights sold for pretty cheap, so these can't be that hard to duplicate.
Please don't post his address in public though, I'm afraid most of you would dis him to death w/o actually getting anything accomplished, people will buy what they want :). If the rears weren't so chromy and confusing to look at, it might be cool.

I seriously hope that no one buys those tail lights. Its such a wonderful thing to see another WRX on the road, if I saw one and pulled up only to find those tail lights, well I would have to take their car away fron them. Please, no one waste your hard earned mod money on that crap!
