hey guys we are starting to get off topic. i am going to get in touch with pinks tommorow and let everyone know the deal. ill explain the situation and see what happens. i am also good friends with don and justin from precision tuning so ill get in touch with them.i see alot of arguements being started. its only the begining i am sure but lets try to stay constructive. i have no problem stepping up to the plate but we need to figure out a few more things like if pinks will even do it before we get ahead of ourselves

I think it would be a good idea to start thinking of parts that we need to make a consistanly fast car besides the turbo
stuff like the catch can

most def. regardless of setup we do need a catch can, wheels tires, seat, electronics,fmic etc. another thing we should think about is a garage or place to do the build.

This would need to be all function, no form. If we are gonna make it look good, thats where a company can step up and pay for paint and such and then they can advertise for themselves and nasioc of coarse.

im up for running the biggest turbo we can get our hands on and the most amount of boost possible
and I think if we go in with the mentality that we dont need the nitrous its only there just in case we will be a lot better off, I think that we should try and make it not depend on the bottle so we can negotiate with it

Well, the advantage would be if a good tuner was involved and with the huge range of boost available with the gt35r you can pretty much run from 20-35psi and use that to lower your times on each run...
throw in the 116 octane, some alky injection and go to town. Have the 75shot on there for ****s and giggles and if you need it for that final blast down the track to get that extra push if you need it.
good idea would be ems with anti-lag...who cares if you ruin the exhaust and turbo as long as its after the 5 runs.

just checked out the ur t3/t04s.kit. sickkkkk. that would be nice. on the registration i sent in with my email i checked the box for 10-12 sec 1/4 so we have alot of room to play with. a mid 11 sec run with no nitrous would be nice. then we spray all the way

booo that. they must know its comming.. i just remembered on the regy i put that we could have it ready by april 07. when i talk to a person on the phone ill ask about time and further explain our situation. i figure if we get a respone in the next week or so that would leave us with 6 months to get it done and ready to race. if we get organized and get some leadership and determination we should have no problems. with the brains and talent avaliable on this site i have no doubt we could build it and win an evo or mustang or whatever pulls to the line :devil:

for a shell you really want a 93 its by far the lightest shell out there (and cheepest)
iirc the 93 is ~2500 in AWD configuration 2400 as a FWD (remember a turbo engine weighs 150 lbs more than a 1.8)
the shells get about 50lbs heavier every year after
finding the motor /em isn't going to be nearly the proublem that finding a tranny will be

What we would need, is a place to submit money where we new someone or a company was taking it and puting it towards the car then we could build a real car.
