Thanks ... most desirable driving shoe that I've seen in a long time!

i use these. "macho" brand classic martial arts shoes. they're leather, super thin soles. even with my big 'ol feet i can heel-toe no problem. only $30. not sure how much other brand name driving shoes are, but they work for me.

I've had a pair of puma speed cats for years. Good for driving although a little narrow, but they're atrociously uncomfortable to wear for any length of period while standing or walking since the sole is so narrow. The best part about them is the thick reinforced heel.
I actually prefer old school Vans or Converse shoes. The sole is just as thin (if not thinner) than a driving shoe, but they're not crazy narrow. Best part is I don't look like a complete **** when walking around in them.

Completely agree. I have 2 pairs and love them for the track. Standing for the driver's meeting sucks.

WOw, I just happened to run across this thread ! Still going after 8 years !
I stopped counting years ago.
Hugo Boss makes some nice retro sneakers with a stupid thin sole that work VERY well, but at a nice cost too....

Just picked up a pair of these using the 50% off code posted on FB. We'll see if they last longer than the Speed-Well's I've had since 2008.

I've been wearing vans classics for years and love them, but my wife just bought me these nikes and I couldn't believe how much for I liked them for driving! Great pedal feel!
