I just wonder why they call them "Euro" tail-lights when NO European car has them.
I guess it's kinda like the Chevrolet "Euro-Sport" Celebrity. Put the word "Euro" in anything and POOF! instant class!

I find nothing wrong with the top part of those lights (the white part), but damn, those small red circeles are SOOO played out. I think they would have just looked fine if they were just jewelled - like 90% of the new cars out today have - and just leave the overall design/layout.
Overall, I'm defintly disappoint in those lights - the stock lights are fairly boring, but clean. All thats needed is keep it fairly clean, but spice it up just a tad - in my opinion jewwelled lights would be the way to go.

They were popular in europe like 5-6 years ago. New cars had them and have now lost them. The IS300 is an old car to europeans as they have had it since early 98.
The above lights will not look good on a WRX. The WRX IMO is a performance car and not a dress up showroom car. This is the industry trying to move over from the likes of honda's etc. Maybe they should try improving maxima or altima rear lights cause they suck.

i personaly am not gonna get them. but i do like them, i dont think there bad at all, and all this BS about rice parts not belonging on a subaru.....well just because its a subaru it doesnt mean that it is not a import sports car....and half the people that own a rex are not gonna be rally'in on a day to day basis so there not really interested in buying rally parts only...but its ok i guess everyone has there opinion but just dont act like your opinion is a fact, i am not speaking of you guys inperticular, but ive been on many altezza flame threads, so im speaking of experience on those threads....... :) :alien: :) :alien:

And just because its an import sports car doesn't mean it has to be made to look like crap and get grouped in with a bunch of people who have no tuning knowledge and think that 30hp can be had from a big wing! The Import Tuning scene should be like what the old muscle car tuning scene was about, fun, knowlege and fast cars, not style, bad style and bad taste. :rolleyes:

Second if you dont like them thats fine but thats your opinion and when it isnt your car lets not flame the person that chooses to do it. Hall of Shame was a sacrastic comment on my behalf. But yes, I will do anything possible to prevent Subaru community from becoming what Honda market is today. 5 years has passed since the introduction of the first 2.5 RS which was the foundation of the Subaru Performance movement in the North America. That is the reason why we have the WRX today. Up until few months back, we were not poisoned by the APCing, OBXing, LEDwindsheildspraying and finally Altezzing of todays "Boy-Racer" orientated products...
I hope it will stay the same...

Altezza lights for WRX!!!
I see Altezza lights selling on ebay and wonder if anyone has one installed. I especially like carbon fiber background better than the typical silver one. If anyone has a pic. please post it? I don't want that riced out look on my WRX....

Basically what people are trying to get at is that is has been posted about- ALOT. I merged about 7 threads on the subject that all ended up the same way. The vast majority of people don't like Altezza's because they see the WRX as the model that will turn the Subaru market into what the majority of the Honda aftermarket has become- cheap, flashy exterior modifications that offer little value or performance enhancement for the money spent. Actually, I really like those :cool: I've seen someone else post something about these lights... very similar to stock but "jeweled" instead. Does anyone know if any vendors carry these and for how much? Does anyone have any pics of them installed? they're at asylumms.com I think those are just the altezzas for wthe wrx with a jeweled red part instead of clear. I think they look much much better than the regular altezzas, but I think I still like the stock taillights better. if you decide to get them definitely post a pic up. Thanks.
