What does the FRP finish look like? Is it black, or does it need to be painted? Possible to get a picture?
And when you say you can get the FRP version now for $100 less, what is the full price of it?

No pics of the FRP that I know of. No official pricing yet either. As I've mentioned, the estimates in the thread are based upon the straight conversion of the Yen prices listed on the Chargespeed site.
Adam has been trying to get more information out of them, but their response has been lethargic at best. There's a ton of pent up interest, but imparting that to our Japanese friends seems difficult. I mentioned the possibility of taking deposits, figuring that money talks, but I'm still waiting to hear back.

hmmm im interested depends on price i think i would rather have fg or abs however...... the cf wont match my set-up and cf is too exspensive if your just going to paint it

When I say that they are available now, I mean that Adam has contacted them and they let him know that he can place orders for the FRP right now, but that the CF hasn't gone into production yet.
Once again, the only prices I've seen are right on that very same link, in Yen. I have no idea what the cost in US dollars will be once shipping, etc. is figured in, but if Adam can order and ship in volume, I think the pricing should be pretty close to a straight conversion.

Some dissapointing news. I guess Chargespeed hasn't even released this piece in Japan yet, though the have it plastered all over their website. Adam doens't feel comfortable going forward until there's some product in the channel. I'm going to suggest, to everyone who expressed interest, that they contact Chargespeed here at [email="[email�protected]"][email�protected][/email] to show them how much demand exists. Hopefully that might get them off of their butts.
