Here are mine:

I have had them for about 5 months now, no problems, they work and were cheap to buy. I'm so glad they came out with the green ones now. I currently have the blue gauges, and I'm thinking about selling them and getting the green ones so they match my tac gauge cluster.

A quick question about oil pressure gauge. I plan to do the oil filter sandwhich adapter thing but didnt order it yet. I got my prosport oil pressure gauge and read the instructions. it shows to screw the oil pressure sender into the sandwhich thing. I dont really remember what it looks like a the oil filter since I only changed oil once (4k miles on the the odo) but I dont recall much space. So the question is am I supposed to buy like a hose with the sandwhich or is there indeed enough space to screw the sender in? Thanks.
| pleue | 10-05-2006 10:08 PM |
yes, in for blue with yellow pointers or better yet blue/white with yellow pointers. bonus points if you could match the red in the prosport logo to the yellow pointers. look at any 02-03 wrx for the right shade of yellow...
| Mechie3 | 10-05-2006 11:24 PM |
Make sure you still make blue w/red pointers. I just bought a zerosports pod (keeping the stock clock ftw) and am looking to get some of your blue electric gauges. I'm glad I found these. I wanted blue lighting, red needles, smoked covers, and the opening ceremony...and I didn't want to spend $150+ per gauge.
:)

These are definitely great gauges. I have a green oil pressure gauge in my car currently. Here are a few pics i took of the gauge. For those that are curious, the other gauges that can be seen in my triple gauge hood are Defis. The prosports are a LOT brighter than the Defis.
Prosport is in the gauge cluster bezel here:

Thanks shawn..for posting that, I was not not allowed to unless I PAY to be a vendor. I hope more people sign up on that board, as I get alot of info from there. For instance our Green series was custom designed from feedback direct from our customers & distributors...so Yellow pointers will be looked into. Can anyone send me a CLEAR picture of the stock gauge with Yellow so I can see what shade of yellow we need ??

Yes, but they are sold out, they sold out in about 25 days. The next lot is expected to arrive the end of this month. If you want to email us ,we'll add you to the email waiting list, which will allow you to buy them 4-6 days early before they go up for sale on the website.

Has anyone noticed this: I have disabled the DRL. When I an driving at night I turn of the car and the headlights go off too(the gauge shines green). If I don't turn off my lights and start my car the gauges are green on in the ON position and once I start my car they turn white. They won't go green again unless I shut off my car and turn the lights off.
Hopefully someone understands what I'm talking about

I have not disabled my DRL, but I do contend with this issue. I am not sure of a work around to this, unless their is an alternative way of wiring them floating around out there.

I would imagine it's in real time, why would the boost gauge have lag? That would sorta defeats the point of the gauge.

The red prosport gauges are closer to orange / amber than they are to STi red. I don't think they make a good match at all, but for the price you really can't beat the looks.

are they really that hard to read at daytime? Is it because they have a glare? And would mounting them behind the steering wheel lower the visibility problem?

i got the autometer gauge cluster bezel from fastwrx.com; highly reccomend this solution
I got boost/oil temp myself. Didnt want to pay for a professional install and didnt want to bother tapping anything for egt. I think egt is "more important", but running stage 2 or less on say a cobb AP, you dont really have to worry about it.

It does not block your tach at all, but it does block the 140 mph mark (wrx) on the speedo - no big deal
Also, it doesn't block ur fuel gauge at all, but u have to tilt ur head about 1 inch to see if your low fuel light is on - not a big deal. Haha, it took me one "oh ****" to remeber that it blocks the little light. Now its fine.

Just for an update guys, I've had my prosports for about 4-5 months now and they havent given me any problems until now. Looks like my oil pressure gauge is about dead. It does a sweep and then goes all screwy and doesnt read right. Its not too bad though, only like $40 to replace and it gives me an excuse to get the green backlit WRX gauges lol

So what happens when I put the orange and white wire together both on the car's ACC wire?
Also is anyone hooking these up using the green wire under the dash like they do on scooby tuners for different things?
