Is that a manual quick steering rack? That might be great for drag racing, but would require a lot of effort for use on the street. How much does that bad boy weigh?:)

Manual is the only way to go..It really dosn't take as much effort as you may think to turn it..It weighs less then 10 lbs.Plus you can get rid of all of the other garbage ,P/S pump, lines and the heavy r&p.I bet if you were driving it in the street you wouldn't know that you were driving with a manual rack unless I told you...Gerry

Gerry - will you be selling a manual steering rack for the Impreza, or is this just for your personal car?
I could go for a manual rack... Mmmm... Weight savings!

Yup..for the one in my car.Works fine.It bolts rite into JDM GC8 crossmember...No mods..Just let me check on a WRX at the shop to make sure the spline is the same length..If everything is correct it will bolt rite into your WRX...

closing this down...
for several reasons...
1 - it's now become a vendor thread.
all vendor threads are to be posted in the vendor forums.
this is well beyond a 'gauging interest thread'
2 - the 'flaming and bashing' is simply not needed. either contribute something in a mature and intelligent manner, or dont say anything at all. often 'flaming of other members' ends up in locked threads.
3 - thread has run it's course.
when a vendor has a product to SELL, along with PRICING... let them post it as so in the classifieds.
sorry... but this thread was reported...
and i agree. enough is enough
