Hi, this is my first time with a photoshop request. I was thinking of doing something very simple to my front end, wondering if anyone who's bored at work could oblige:

She's a WRB 2002, and I was thinking of putting a blue 'i' on the front (the new wider version), with silver blinkers and crystal sidemarkers. Thanks to all those with time on their hands!

Thanks to ChosenWon's webpage I was able to acquire simple Photochop skills but I will not be able to do what I want to see, so here it is

I'd like to see a few photoshops, please.

1. New body style WRX three door hatchback. Just chop the middle out of a wagon. Rough is OK.

2. New body style WRX with front wheels moved forward. I'd like to see what it looks like with BMW-esque proportions. SEXY I bet.:)

"Beta" Version of it of course, but only took me about 45 minutes once I found all the files and sat down to it. Lemme know if you want something different (in general terms e.g. different rims, different bumper, shorter body, any of that just not color, I hate changing the color). It is a 2.5TS with the WRX widebody, front end, and rims. Really not much to it.

EDIT: STi version added, this one was a bit more involved since it also started out with the 2.5TS and I switched the interior and everything, down to the reflection on the ground.

Great job by the way.

I think a shortened wagon looks odd. IMO the C-post needs to be thicker for it to look right. If you want to bother, that's what I'd like to see next. I'd really like to see the side view so I can get a feel for what an altered wheelbase Impreza would look like.

Make the car short and the wheelbase long.:)

EDIT: the WRC website has some nice pics of the 2003 WRC car with the badass rear wing

My laptop is in the shop right now but as soon as I get 'er back Ill start working on the C pillar. You think it should be thicker all the way through or just at one end? Let me know your preference and I'll do it to both "versions" of the car. Then the big step of changing the wheel base. Never done that before, but there's a first time for everything right? Ill do the best I can. Hopefully Ill have it finished and posted up soon.

If you have a BRP sedan studio picture (ie taken in a studio so as to minimize the reflections and maximize the quality) I can make that car for you, but Im no good at changing the color, since Ive never actually been trained how to use Photoshop... The bumper, the wheels, the 22B vents, even making it a wagon is the easy stuff to me (see my 360 Modena with an F50 body moulded in?) but I make a fool out of myself when I try to change the color. Maybe somebody can tell me how to do it, but until then, I gotta make due with what I got. Sorry.

Any other requests? I love doing this stuff so as soon as I get my laptop back I'll be open to new ideas and taking requests.

Hey Joe, do you have wheels like that? What are those things? The car looks like it's Swiss. I'd guess they were Technomagnesios.

C17: Take your time and make it look like you want it. I'm just curious as to what a long(er) wheelbase/short overhang WRX would look like.

aspera: Actually those aren't the Tecnomagnesio Detroit F1's, I would have to find the thread on scoobynet , because I asked the owner what they were. I am highly thinking of getting a set of the Detroit F1's in silver 18" though. The Detroit F1's look very similar to those though, so make that wagon in Blue Ridge Pearl and the wheels in silver and you will have my car when it's done.

Yeah where is chosen one, he always had some badarse photoshopped stuff. I am sure he can do the color change

C17LOAD: Actually those aren't 22b vents on the hood. The wagon is a Version 2, that is the old style scoop and vents, not many in the US either ;) Plus you keep the older headlights and grill.

They are a pretty odd looking wheel, but I've seen some wheels on Scoobynet that were Subaru only limited edition oddballs or something. I think they were Tecnomagnesios...not sure.

With Euro wheels you can get unique styles that nobody else has. They might not be Volk TE37s, but they will be unique.

aspera: There may only be a handfull of people that I know of in the US that have the Detroit F1's on their Subaru. Well, the new hatch is up and ready for scrutinizing...I can make an STi and a WRC but Id like to know if the design is right before I get too into it...

Changes include:
Body shortened from rear (really only noticable when comparing the original wagon picture and the new hatch picture)
Restyled hatch to eliminate the 2 small windows and improve look

Did I get it right and what more is needed?

PS This almost seems like its changing into the WRX "hatchback" page...

That looks pretty close, like about 8 or 9 tenths of what a WRX might look like. The little black area at the rear of the side window doesn't need to be there, though. I really like how the rear edge of the C-post looks. Its nice and straight and gives the car a squared off boxy shape.

I'd like to see a WRC version of the hatch next, please.:) Maybe if you're lucky Subaru will take notice and call it the "C17" project.:)

here's the red forester from the other page.... far easier to just make the one in the pic red then try and chop off the kit ... I also lowered the front and put on the 17" UK WRX wheels like he said he wanted to do... not sure if they're the right wheels but I snagged them right off the Subaru of Europe website.
