I'd say the home made one looks pretty darn good. Might have to do this myself but since I have the CBR i badge on the front, the brighter red might not look right. Anyone know where to get CBR pinstriping?

I just did this to my 07 WRB STI and I think it looks great. Thanks for the write up. It took me 30 minutes or so from popping the hood to closing the hood...

I think that's part of the subtleness. You don't notice it at first but as you get closer...whoa, look at that, that's cool.

pics sent to 1st scooby. It is pretty ghetto the way I did it but effective. Well I did it with the red tape and decided that red and pink clashes a little , so I called a local sign shop , they had some but not exact and wanted $25 for 1/4 in 2 ft long piece. So I came home saw some of my wife nail polish that matches almost perfectly and painted over the red tape, so there is no paint on the actual grill itself. I ran another pin stripe along the edge of the original, painted, and then peel off the temp. pin stripe for a flawless line. You can get nail polish anywhere some might think this is stupid but hey it works for me, If 1st scooby host my pics for me you will probally agree with me.

hmm... i wouldn't paint nail polish over red tape and put it on a car... you know nail polish isn't permanent, and the smooth surface on the stripes really don't make them adhere any better
