Yeah, I've cut most of them myself... my dad pitches in when I get bogged down.... I gotta beef up this weekend for the vast requests pouring in from our northern neighbor! 47 from Canada!
Hmmmmm any other ideas... well the first ever Blue light mod I did to my car... was the dome light up on the ceiling, it gives the car a really "chilled/relaxed" feeling.
Also... I've had a couple requests on changing other green lights in the car to blue, obviously the stereo, havent had time to take a crack at that again (first attempt didnt go well)
But I've been asked to do the rear defrost light, cruise/fog, and the auto down on your window...
Well I had a long break today at school (5 hours) finished some work... washed the car, ripped open the whole interior seemingly and chilled with friends...
While I was ripping open the interior.. I was looking for ways to re-do the buttons mentioned above... well the defrost light... no-go [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif[/img] fog/cruise... I couldnt manage to pop the buttons out... I may try that agin this weekend, but right now it is looking like more hassle than fun. and lastly, the auto down.
It's a tiny green led on the window's circuit board... I assume that if I were able to put enough blue over it, we could manipulate it's color. but I looked at it like this... why would you just do one button?

I however just bought the colored bulb and there is still some white light that comes out the sides. how did you do your blue dome?

I always take my friend to show him what I've done to my car THIS week, it seems like I do something to it every 10 days. I showed him my painted six stars badge..thought it was cool, and loved my blue interior as well! he sat in the car and said, "You know, I've been waiting for you to make that light blue" (Pointing to the sealing) I said, "Yeah, that might look cool, I'll look into it... so I looked into... made it blue, rather effectively too I might add!.
One I had discovered how well the material manipulated light... I said, "Hold on, lets try this on the gauges!" So I feverishly ripped open the gauges, and slid some of the material back there and WHALLAH! BLUE!
That night I posted and told all of you that I was doing research and that where the craze began!
So you ask how I did it? well simple.. I used the same material that i use for the gauges... but I made it to SIT on top of the lense, not around the light! it would probably warp and melt.

Long Island RS, I would like to be able to the factory gauge pods..but I do not own one... also... I don't anyone with one to experiment with. I wish I did I've had a couple qurries regarding it.
As far as the material that I use... It is a tough, durable, blue plastic, that is not an Overlay.... but an Underlay.. (lays behind the gauges)
