Trying to buy and fit this kit, its like trying to buy the "body" kit NASCAR car use and try to use them on Chevy Malibu.

That is no kit. The car is tube frame with a full CF body.

In other word, you are out of luck. No $ will buy you this "kit" or even a little peice of of it.

I belive H2motorsport makes a WRC wide body kit. Its not availiable in the US untill next week from what I understand. I've seen pictures and the stuff is the real deal. I was also under the understanding that those pictures shown were of the H2 kit.

Perhaps it will all make sense on Monday, the site was supposed to be un on the 1st, but it has been delayed.

Last I heard, they were going on line on October 7th, but their countdown clock has run out, so I'm not sure whats up. Its 12:00pm here, is it already Monday in Honk Kong?

It looks as though H2 has added a little more time to their clock ... 1 more day to be exact. So, look for H2 to be online on Oct. 7 (USA).

No way the CUSCO JGTC fenders are gonna fit on production cars. Just look at where the tires are. You'll need a major major body work and suspention work to make your car look like the CUSCO car.

On the other hand WRC type wide body has been done.

this is not a WRC car. This is street GDB in japan with WRC replica bodykit on. RHD.
I know where to get the kit in japan but I don't think the kit has been imported to US.
Do you or anyone else know where to get the WRC body kit? :)

To think I was worried! Not trying to start a pissing contest here....
My kits will be hand laid fiberglass or baked preimpregnated carbon. We are doing the front and rear fenders, bumpers, sideskirts, wing, scoop, hood, and even the lights with genuine Hella lights. All will be made in the USA. It will debut at SEMA in the JIC booth. Come see it in person!

Looks like the Impreza enthusiasts in Japan will be buying some great stuff from US instead of it being the other way around. You should make a thread devoted to this Kevin. Or is there one?
WRXRACER619 10-07-2002 08:31 PM

H2Motorsports-Shoot me an email Iam interested in the front bumper and hood.

Let me know

Anyone know what wheels are on the yellow car, and will they fit a standard bodied WRX?

Andy
The yellow conebasher is Chris Flemings car, hes a member here Chris F is his handle. The wheels he had machined, they are extremely light, forget the weights, but they are 18x10s and will not fit the standard wrx, so all of you people that are bashing it...its functional. I actually got to ride in the conebasher on Fathers day at an auto X here in Austin, Chris was crashing at my place and we both went out to the TX spokes outing. anyways that car is UNBELIVEABLE more power than I could ever imagine... Chris just happend to be there so he could fine tune the suspension since he had basically doubled the contact patch. Anyhow thats the heads up..also he had the fenders custom made to the best of my knowledge.
W|2X 10-08-2002 05:43 PM

I was wondering if the H2 Motorsports parts for the wrx are poly or fibre glass?
4x4GGG 10-08-2002 06:35 PM

Question...

Does that body help the car?

Which one?
4x4GGG 10-08-2002 07:46 PM

The wide body?
WRXRACER619 10-09-2002 12:27 AM

It would give you more shock travel but unless your racing just makes it looks sweet :)
andygold 10-09-2002 10:13 PM

[27]...I already found out that those are Kodiak racing wheels...Thanx!

Progress pics.... Keep in mind this is how plugs for pulling molds off are made. That is foam on the fenders that gets shaped. These have been shaped, and have had foam added just to fill some air pockets. The pics don't do the work justice. Maybe new pics tonight....

You can make it out pretty well if you look closely. Good to see things are coming along on the kit.
SubaFastR 11-12-2002 03:32 AM

Wider is better, by pkZero, molded by Gimmie Composites.

oooooooooooooooooh! That's niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
aspera 11-12-2002 03:48 PM

"Kit includes fenders, bumpers, wing, roof scoop, and hood. Parts will be available separately." according to your site.

Are rear fenders still in the works? Can the stock bumper caps still be used? Are the fenders pictured above carbon? Can you guys send the parts pre-painted? I'd trust you guys would have better luck finding someone who could paint composites correctly. Plus how could anyone resist installing the parts right away. I mean even if your plan is to get the parts painted, and they are just sitting there in your garage lookin' good and all...:)

The big question is how much money am I going to end up giving you.:)

The kit is nearing completion. We are finishing up the front bumper and need to begin on the wing. Everyone thank Dan from Vivid Racing for lending us a Prodrive WRC wing to duplicate. The fenders are finished, and the gas door issue is almost finished.
