I love the way that the 02 headlights look when there cleared, but I'm torn if I want to flat black the housing including the blinker area... or even glossy black? or match it to the bosy color? lets see pics of stock headlights that are painted inside, and any other creative ideas.

Dont paint the reflection part looks cleaner just the surrounding area.

yea, if you're going to paint it, it looks better to leave the turn signal part clear...i still prefer no paint/no orange myself.

When I saw the picture of Dm0n3y002 white car he posted lastnight, I had to do my headlights just like that. Did this today. TOOK me 6 hours, but its so worth it.

It's not you I cut the bottom half off with my dremel , bent the top half over , drilled holes and remounted it when I had it on my integra..= almost got arrested for doing it = stupid thing i did :rolleyes: Just havent got around to getting new plates .

Although, if i had the chance to do mine again, i would just have painted the turn signal area and left the parking lights alone. It kinda looks like eyelids that way. Anybody have a pic of that??

super clean job eclipse racer, i havent seen it dont only on the flat parts with the vertical left chrome (everyone follow that ok) i like strictly drivens as well.

i tried to do the home made mod to the lights but i can't figure how in the hell you seperate the lens from the houseing. some goo like gasket stoped me when i tried. then again i didn't try all that hard.

any whoo...

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO TAKE THEM APART?

The goo is normal.

Just heat it up for a couple minutes in the oven at about 220F and keep prying it apart!
