who wants a black prodrive shifter knob?
prodrive is offering a shifter knob seen here:

in either blue (pictured) or all polish... I would like an all black one with a polished cap thingy... or [i]all[/i] black would be fine for me as well...

I can only assume the price with remain at $55.00... but I don't think prodrive will offer a leather one... just the style above in black (or another color, as Simon stated).

once again i would have to assume... I am under the impression that shift knobs are universal... but if I were you, I would reply to the thread above and ask either simon or luke...

Okay here's the black knob that I believe is the one in question:

Now, as you can see in that Prodrive parts thread, people are saying it's not really black, it's a bad picture. Well, it may be a big picture, but it looks good to me, and unless I'm REALLY color blind, that's black. :D
(The detail on the metal cap atop the knob is good, and the underline of the Prodrive "P" is clearly blue, so I don't personally see how it could be a bad pic.)

Siper- what I think is happening is one or two things:
a) the polished aluminum is reflecting a black interior
b) the bottom of the knob is partially in shadow thus giving a black appearance...

Ok, assuming enough of you want it we can do a black knob with a silver top inlay, i'll check out a price and let Luke know (i would expect it to be the same or very close to the others)
The problem with the pic is the reflection from inside, i just didn't think about it before posting it, so i guess "sorry" is in order :) But as you all seem to like it i guess no harm was done...

The gearknobs all fit on the std screw thread on the stock shifter the non STi knobs have a machined lip for the shifter boot, the STi knobs are machined to fit the reverse lockout.
