Is this the one with the F1 car w/ the body work off going through various throttle ranges? and you can see the exhaust manifolds glowing? And that guy on the team gets in the way of the camera half the time?

The engine tech is some of the best in the world. Throttle response is almost instant and the headers turn white hot in a matter of seconds. Also, them are some pretty colors.

I remeber when Asiatech left F1 they made their engine play "The Saints Come Marching In" using different revs to match harmonic tones. Dorky but cool.

I have an MP3 of that, its really cool. I thought it was all chopped up and edited, but its actually some guy playing with the throttle. Brings tears to my eyes when I think of how cool it would be to drive a car like that. :)

The limited amount of rotating mass in those engines is unreal; going from super high RPM down to nearly idle and back a few times per second is nearly unbelievable.
Just flat out awesome. :)

What about the guy standing to the right of the car with his arms crossed while everyone else was plugging their ears???? I've stood next to IRL engines being fired up, and they are LOUD. I imagine an F1 engine is even more ear-splitting.
That guy must be the same one who is standing next to the speaker tower while a rock band plays to show off how he can stand the loudness. :rolleyes:

he is wearing ear plugs. Its hard to see them due to the resolution, but they are orange, and they go under his chin. They are very good hearing protection
