18"s on GC8 RS?
Is anyone here running 18s on their GC8 imprezas? I'm looking at new rims, and the price between 17s and 18s is marginal. Pics Please. Also, anything I should worry about with 18s? My suspension is stock right now, and will be lowered after wheels and tires.

I have the moda R3's with 215/40 yokahamas. I dont really have that big of a problem with rubbing, so I am thinking of selling the 18's this winter and getting 19's. Anyone have 19's yet???

never seen 19's on a GC8, not even in Oz......
I've also never seen 19's in the right offset, or narrow enough...an 8 inch rim that is that much bigger is gonna push it...

I found a set of 19x7.5 that should be close enough in offest to work, if not i'll have them turned down a little bit to fit in. Might take a little extra work, but i'll get them to fit. the only thing that i worry about is the roads here in Omaha, they arent very good. Havent had any problems with the 18's yet, but the lower side wall of a 19 may, have to wait and find out i guess.

i'm sure alot of people on here would say they don't like it, but i like it! and i appreciate it. which alot of ppl on here don't in regards to other's cars. lots of work too, i bet. but to post a new thread there is a button on the top right new thread and then you can either attach a file (right above submit) but you're limited to one file per reply, so you'd have to reply for more pics... or you can just use (img) [url]http://blah.com/blah.jpg[/url] (/img) where the address is the address of the image and the parentheses should be replaced with brackets [ and ]... and you can do as many as you like in one message with that way. either way, don't take it seriously when these guys dog on you about how it's 'in bad taste.'

elemental: its actually the erbuni kit but the front bumper is totally customized from the way it came. concept is a big company they design for alot of other big name companies but are now deciding to do there own lines. i am completely happy with concept for the price (retail wise) it is great.

they're right, a lot of people on this club will say they don't like it, but i think it looks really great. I love the shaved look, especially on the trunk lines. takes the hyundai-ish look away. If the car was mine (which it isn't) I would remove the chrome wheels and put an anthracite color on instead. but that's just constructive criticism! looks nice though. (and by the way, i love that system, i'm jealous) i just started working on mine, and so far i hate it. i have the stock speakers in my rex, and they're terrible. then i have two JL W2 10's with an Xtant 121m (with the LFQ upgrade) and i'm really not pleased. The box doesn't fit right (came out of my porsche) and slides around in the trunk, and it just doesn't seem to have enough power....oh well, i spent my hard earned money on performance upgrades....maybe next year!

elemental: the front bumper took some modification to fit, he had to actually use the factory foglight and turnsignal opening to make things easier. but the rest of the kit fit pretty decent.

i'm holding out for the JL W7! any word on those? i'd really like to hear someone's thoughts on those babies!

Conservative is like stock with add on but nothing like body mods and stuff. Once you get there and they will check the car and switch your class if they fell you classed wrong. I'm sure they will probably just port me in Asian Import other non subaru because of all my body mods.

NoSaabs: they are saying that the W7' SHOULD be out by the end of summer, but thats nothing definite. The JL reps are saying that the new subs are supposed to really kick ass

yeah, that's what i heard. but it IS the end of summer. they must be tweeking that sub so that it has absolutely NO flaws...and they very well should be! i'm going to need to get the Xtant 404 to even think about running one 10" W7. That's all gonna require what i would consider a large investment. especially because they say the W7 is going to require a specially designed box, unlike any other box currently produced. after that comes the JL mids and tweets and i should be done! (and so should my wallet...thank god for the platinum card!!)

so your front end is a one off? is there a company that will be making them?

sanders: thanks for the pics of the car, its looking pretty good. I will be parked in the Orange area. So i guess we will have to look for each other. I have one question whats the fastenation with white wheels or anthracite. Chrome is better looking and plus, this is a show car, not race car. Nothing against the people who like the race aspect but i am all about the show.:D :p :lol:

Someone asked before, but you didn't answer- where did you get the Erebuni kit? It's definitely a SYMS replica (at least the rear), and that's exactly the bumper I'm getting in November, so I'm trying to find places to buy it from. Did you buy it directly from Erebuni, do they have a website or contact info? Would the sell only the rear bumper?
