Are these s202 seats?

Crappy picture.. just reallized I focused on the steering wheel and not the seats :lol:
Fellow Nasiocer just traded this in and because he is the most awesome dude on the planet we worked something out and they're going in my car. The color is right.. but they don't have the ridges on the sides like so many pictures I've seen. The STi logo part is raised up (or rather.. has stitching around it vs a smooth back) like the v8 STi seats... but the seats are black... so I'm confuzzled.. unless it's a v8 S202 or something? I'm not up on all my JDM special editions, etc. I just know they're comfortable and very nice fitting and are going in my car in about 1.5 hours :)

No. S202s were a Ver7 STi in which the seats had the "ribbed" stitching on the bolsters. The only Ver8 seats that wre black that I am aware of are the Forester STi setas and the seta from a V-Limited STi. Both probably equally as rare as the S202 seats.

So now you have height adjustabillity on both sides.

Yep.. I had noticed that when I sat in them when he brought the car in. Very nice seats, should be nice actually being held in the seat at tomorrow's autocross.
Anyone know if there's a difference between the Sti forester and the limited seats? Just figured I'd try to figure out exactly what they are if at all possible. Forester would be fitting since my old WRX had a JDM turbo forester motor in it before I sold it :)

Also notice the front of the lower seat as well see the pattern difference. That is a good way to tell what car it came from!!!

The seats are deffo from a Forester STi however they are different to a 05 Spec C Ltd as when our leather man came to do them he had to make up 2 different sets of templates.

Sure thing man :) So we've all established that they're Spec C seats or similar. Cool deal... I highly recommend them to anyone looking for new seats they felt great at the last autocross on Sunday.

You just swap over the base from a USDM seat on the drivers side so that you end up with height adjustability on both sides. Seems like it sits up a touch higher even with it all the way down but I could just be crazy... :D

Whew ok.. so I'm not just crazy. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why I didn't feel just right the first time I sat in it. I've gotten used to it but it was freaking me out for a bit :)
