Big News! Subaru's Drive Performance Magazine is a go!

You may remember, back in January I posted a poll and asked for your opinion on if Subaru of America should publish a magazine geared toward it's performance oriented owners and due to the huge response, Subaru of America has given the project a resounding "Yes".
Subaru of America took all your suggestions on content, article ideas and more and turned them into a bi-annual magazine!

in the Spring and Fall. Watch for your copies then.
Oh, and they better have a lot of information in it if it's only published twice per year...

Subaru should do a better job with this website. There's no real indication that this is an official website. Anyone can post a Subaru logo and collect your personal information.
Tell Subaru to:
1) post some source of information
2) link to it from a domain we know is official like subaru.com (I looked around and couldn't find any reference to this from subaru.com)
Don't get me wrong, I'm trusting this and signing up, but I am just saying "bad form."

In this day of internet data mining I understand your concern. The link was provided to us via SoA prior to the "official" unveiling of the magazine to the public as a courtesy for the information we provided to them. I assure you, the site and any info you provide is only being used by SoA. Once the magazine is unveiled to the public, this will be a link from the official www.subaru.com website.

It doesn't help when the whois information has no obvious link to Subaru either...

for those of you who are worried about it not being official, I can't completely substatiate that it is official, but on the thank you page there is a link to the subaru drive page if that makes you feel any better about it.

Just got off the phone with Bob Lester at SoA/SER, DCI Marketing is one of SoA's direct marketing vendors. They produce and publish the Drive Magazine and will also be handling the Drive Performance Magazine. Your info is safe!
