Not sure if it's the lighting but it doesn't appear to be sitting flush against the window near the C pillars.

Not too big of a fan of the look, but that's just me :)
Curious though..what are those supposed to do? I'm sure the onslaught of evo fans would flame me, but still I missed the whole vortex thing becoming popular...last I heard vortexes were imaginary things hippys went to the middle of nowhere to sit around  Not too sure on what it does, help with downforce, merely for looks?

It trips up the boundary layer that forms and helps to decrease the vacuum behind the car thus creating drag. It also helps to bring the airflow down to interact more with the wing.

oh ya, this kid took the photos and owns the rs. He was too much of a pansy to go out on the ice though....
and to me, its just for looks, Im not kidding myself about any sort of increased downforce.

Vortex Generators cause the airflow to separate further down your rear window, decreasing drag and increasing the velocity of the air molecules over the rear spoiler. They are used in Super GT and other types of racing all the time. On a street car, the aerodynamic benefits are negligible and just like a hood scoop on a 2.5RS, they are merely for looks. If you want to better understand why that works, I would suggest Googling the following terms:
Bernoullis Principle
Separation Point
Laminar Flow
Boundary Layer
Air Viscosity
Goatse
Or I can explain it for you but it's a lot of writing.

You are correct sir... I believe a carbon diffuser would fit in nicely.....
Thanks for the compliments!
I was considering a syms replica wing, and I figured the CF blade would match well, but I am kinda reconsidering liking the syms replica. I dunno....

Who does then? I know someone makes a CF blade cover that fits on top of the stock STI wing with a slight lip.

I think Mechie3 is right about what they function as (I've never seen an idiotic post from him). However, i doubt this chargespeed one is properly tested with the STi wing to do any good. I wont say anything more negative about it, since I plan on owning a chargespeed product sometime in the future.
