Lets see those bling-bling dressed up engines. I figured they have an "official" thread for just about everything else so why not this? i would start the thread off with a pic of my wrx but the engine is stock as of now. Post away..........

basshead thats straight CLEAN as a mofo that looks really really nice i deffinatly like the yellow bushings and accents very good job. Just wondering about how much did you spend doin the dress up?

I had to build the motor last summer so while I had it out I stripped out the engine bay and painted it with single stage. My friend Joe Helped. I spent countless hours on the motor and engine bay. I am currently removing the entire rear end and replacing all the bushings with the STI bushings and painting all the parts.

Once the engine bay was stripped of all brake lines, ABS pump, Front cross member, Brake booster, wiring, and clips. I sanded it all down with a red scotch pad. The bay was then cleaned of all dust and grease. Next I tapped off the car and then prepped again finaly the paint. Thanks. That screen is a panasonic screen from Japan. There are very few out there. I have a friend that worked for panasonic who was in japan while these were being developed and well He gave me one. I did some research on the model number and well it comes up not found in all countries. It's kind of cool to have a one off JDM screen here in the US. The remote is all in japanese as is the text display.

If I wanted to make the hoses a different color do i take the black ones off and put new ones on or do i just cut the colored ones and put them over the black??

You could to either. Personally i like the look of replacing the hoses better. check out [url]www.hosetechniques.com[/url] they have a lot of kits. It will be more expensive to replace the hoses but i think that it is worth it.

maybe im just from too small of a town, but i sure dont get the whole bling bling trunk thing. on my old car i didn't open the trunk for so long it started to mold. lol.
maybe the screen is for if you kidnap somone and put them in the trunk, so the stay entertained.....and deaf

I also have done some shows with Brian fox of Fox marketing who supplies all the demo vehicals for Rockford Fosgate, MB quart and lightning Audio. Depends on what ya want... ya can get Samco and Perrin thru almost any NASIOC vendor. The specialty stuff, look up the thread ^^^
