Forgive me NASIOC for I have pimped. (Wet Okole)
Well, my seats were starting to show some wear that I had to nip in the bud. So in went the order for some Wet Okoles. When I walked into the showroom I just couldn't resist. My car is blue. I love freediving. I had to pimp. Please, be gentle. :disco:

you can't be serious, to each their own i guess
06 Scooby 01-25-2007 06:37 PM

unique...this is a subie tho, not a honda
eurospek 01-25-2007 06:39 PM

Would I do it, nope, but those look good man!
G3Red04WRX 01-25-2007 06:41 PM

If you matched the back seat then cool (but still not my taste). If not, then why didnt you just get some black wetsuit covers for the seats from autzone?
Daishi00 01-25-2007 06:49 PM

My Lord...I don't know what to say
awdbeast 01-25-2007 06:51 PM

Well, I've seen worse, but I've also seen far better.
sixtsix 01-25-2007 06:58 PM

alrighty
frayz 01-25-2007 07:00 PM

Man you should be shot at dawn for that :(

:D
bushflyr 01-25-2007 07:19 PM

It must be a diver thing. :) The back seats will match soon. MUWHAHAHAHA!
4wdrift 01-25-2007 07:33 PM

Dont really like it too much. It matches the paint though. Maybe its time for
an STI seat upgrade. ;) How much, and did an upholsterer do it? ...if you don't
mind me asking.

Thanks. :)
RS Guy1513 01-25-2007 07:34 PM

what about the side airbags in your seats?
FWD WRX 01-25-2007 08:02 PM

fake bape seats
Handsdown 01-25-2007 08:11 PM

well... if it wasn't for the camo pattern, they'd be perfectly acceptable seat covers...

i kinda don't see this as pimpage if you free dive and need seatcovers that can get wet without molding or falling apart... they sure don't look very good though. too bright.

Damn guys, whether you like it or not, it's his car.

I'm sure you guys all have something on your car that not 100% of the community here would approve of.
AbACUZ 01-25-2007 08:35 PM

hey ... because YOU dont like it , does not mean its ugly, i mean .. c'mon . comparing to a honda . thats just low ... not everyone is a JDM Drifto , must overnight from japan wanabees, he has a Subaru , and he is a diver , so wetsuit seatcovers, that have the same color of his car and kinds wave looking patern is not THAT bad...

Its not like he put those damn wood beaded seats , HAHAHA who the hell ever think those things where comfortable ...
djsniggedy 01-25-2007 08:35 PM

im sorry....lol. its different i guess
veightkiller 01-25-2007 08:47 PM

If you dig it thats all that matters :)
khail19 01-25-2007 08:55 PM

I like it. Not enough to buy them myself, but I'm glad someone has some balls on this forum. They look like they fit really well, which is pretty rare for seat covers. What did you pay for them?
Handsdown 01-25-2007 08:56 PM

if the white in the camo were replaced with black, they'd be awesome.
Winner 01-25-2007 08:59 PM

where did your seats go?? I cant see them!
bigboss 01-25-2007 09:01 PM

ew

at least the fitment looks awesome.
druxboyz 01-25-2007 09:04 PM

Wouldnt those newer 06 or 07 TR seat covers fit too?
sixtsix 01-25-2007 09:15 PM
what about the side airbags in your seats?
Good Question..... Can't believe no one else thought of this.
FigNuts 01-25-2007 10:18 PM

Believe it or not but I saw a girl driving a Geo with the exact same seat covers the other day.
TurboTrey03 01-25-2007 10:47 PM

so these are seat covers? they actually look really good if they are seat covers..well....except for the middle part. imo you shoudlve went all blue...but that is

he said be gentle in his initial post, he knew the flames were coming or else he wouldnt of posted that
pleue 01-25-2007 11:15 PM

wet okoles are fit for the specific seats, meaning there is a small oval cutout to accomodate the airbag. not feelin the color choice but love the covers.
mike_b49431 01-25-2007 11:54 PM

Now it looks like a honda
gingertooth 01-25-2007 11:59 PM

hey....my speedo thong is the same color..............
paintballjunky 01-26-2007 12:02 AM

"Freediving"? Has "skindiving" been deemed politically incorrect?

Now you can drive into a large body of water and blend in perfectly!
vtecTHIS 01-26-2007 12:32 AM

so no one here as ever seen a nice honda? yep all of them are riced out. even stock ones, no way anyone mods one cleanly. ever. and they are all slow. NOT ONE honda could beat a stock 1.8 L....... the seats covers are alright, i'd give you a people's eyebrow if i saw it in person, but it isn't that bad
vinhthetran 01-26-2007 02:08 AM

Worse thing I ever saw.
vipernj 01-26-2007 02:23 AM

I like them, but dont like them... they're definetly a nice touch tho

I had Wet Okole seat covers on all my cars. I used the traditional look. I'll admit they have some outrageous combinations.

If you are a smoker and/or flick your cig out the window, it's not a good thing as the ash will burn a hole into them.

BTW. What happened to your passenger door key hole? Did you swap them out?
SparkysJDMSpeedWagon 01-26-2007 04:55 AM

I kinda like them, and like everyone said the fit is great! Besides, it's not like the stock fabric pattern on bugeye seats looks terribly tasteful.
gingertooth 01-26-2007 08:42 AM

is that the new 08' sti seats??? i thought so.
russd32 01-26-2007 09:58 AM

I don't care what anyone says.....those are badass!!
Aaron'z 2.5RS 01-26-2007 10:18 AM

I totaly dig it....

Dare, dare to be different, even if it get's you flamed on your favorite forum....

Different = Good ......... Cookie cutter = Bad

Rock on
Gfunk720 01-26-2007 10:23 AM

Wow, that looks awful and cheap...like something from Autozone

+1 for trying to be original, -5 for picking the wrong color combination
wrxburton 01-26-2007 10:37 AM

there not bad, they serve a purpose and they match, cant ask for any more. Why spend alot of money when he knows there gonna get wet and *****. some people actually prefer function over looks.
disillusioned 01-26-2007 11:02 AM
where did your seats go?? I cant see them!
haha

i dunno, it doesnt look horrible, but i wouldnt rock it. someone mentioned that the white part of the camo should have been black. it wouldnt stand out as much, and probably look better.
bushflyr 01-26-2007 11:30 AM
What happened to your passenger door key hole? Did you swap them out?
Ref THIS thread.

For the black instead of white guys. The passenger seat is pretty over exposed. The "white" is actually a light silver/blue. The driver seat bottom is more true to color. I think the headrests are a little OTT. I may get them redone in black when I get covers for the back seat, but I still dig on the camo for the rest. I went with Wet Okole's because they're water proof and they actually fit PERFECTLY. Not like the A-zone onesizefitsall POS's. Now, with WO's on the seats and Husky floor mats my interior is pretty much beach and dog proof. :alien:
ej20love 01-26-2007 03:35 PM

bape x subaru collaboration
IIdiceII 01-26-2007 03:38 PM

Id wrap the front and rear seats as well as the door cars in the black material then do the headliner in the blu camo lookin stuff.
