Gauging interest on Rear dual Cup holder, WRX

hey all...

We know that the WRX's/02- dont offer the rear cupholder - riiiiiight?
(except in the UK... and yes, they can be imported...)
But we also know the 2002 Foresters cup holder - in a light gray - snaps right into place on the WRX's/02-...

We ([url]www.allsubaru.com[/url]) currently sell these as is...
but what if we painted them to color match the interior??

would their be an interest or need for this item??

cost would be about...? $35-40 + shipping?

(retail on a stock forester rear cupholder is $46.29)

you remove the cover off of the back portion of the center console...

then this snaps into place... :)

there are pics here somewhere. i'll search and find them...

Haha, ok this is funny.

Chris Jones just started a thread in the Private For Sale forum about these EXACT SAME cupholders, but it would be profesionally painted to match the WRX interior for between $55-$60. He works for Maita Subaru here in Sacramento....

Guess we got some competition now.

fyi... i we are color matching the exterior only...
not going to the time and frustration of attempting to trim match the interior of the lid at this time...

is this acceptable?
