I remember that Rallispec made one for a while, but they are gone now.

You may try MRT (http://www.mrtrally.com.au/). They may have something.

Race Rally Engineering sells pods.

Demon Tweeks in the UK does as well.

I'm sure Prodrive would sell you one.

Speaking of Prodrive, I haven't seen Simon Lines post anything in quite a long time... :(

Light pods

1 Attachment(s)
We have the Prodrive style light pods available. Depending on wht you are looking for they sell for $800 which includes:
left and right twin hood pods
left and right bumper pods
Hardware is an additional $90
They are built to fit Hella HID or KC and Piaa systems. Lights are extra.

Let me know how to shed some light on the subject.:D

Wrx pods

Thanks for the vote Jamie.

Actually these pods fit the WRX. The hood line is a little different on the other models so I am not sure but I don't think they fit.

They will fit most lights. It is the mounting ring you have to be careful of.

Those are sweet, but $800 (pods) + $90 (hardware) + $600-$2000 (lights) seems a bit much for a street car. Unless you kept the lights covered, I believe it is illegal for street use. A confused cop may just give you a ticket because of it. Also, I don't think it is legal to have more than 4 forward facing lights on at once making the pods more of a fashion statement than anything else.

Unless "special occasion" means a ProRally I would just look into a single set of lights with a euro beam pattern.

I could make em fit an impreza :D

ya just gotta be creative... erm... or determined ;)

light pods

For clarification, we are in a motorsports forum. These light pods are intended for racing use. If someone buys them for street use it is their responsibility to follow local laws.

Light covers usually work in many cases to follow the laws.

it'snot like jamie never put a rally lite one the front of her car heheh:lol: ti would keep the covered for the most part when i was driving but there are times when you need a little extra lite;)
mykrrrr 09-14-2001 02:50 PM

If I did get some I wouldn't be driving around every day with these on. :D It'd be nice to have the extra light to BLIND annoying Chicago drivers... j/k but unfortunately they're impractical for me.

I can't justify spending $2k on lights for when I go on a long night drive (which rarely happens these days anymore. :() or to go up to Sno*Drift and work the stages like I've done for the past few years.

I'm probably gonna do a removable light bar with 4 hellas or something like Jamie's mounts.

Those pods are damn cool though... :D

bumper pods

Do you think anyone would be interested in just the bumper pods?

Maybe with nice lights as a package? The only problem would be self mounting them but an easy instruction set could be put together.
Justin
joe z 09-14-2001 04:43 PM

i really would just like the hood pods i can make ones for the bumper
ProrallyWRX 09-14-2001 07:09 PM

No problem.

If you want just the hood pods, $500.
Have a good weekend.
Let me know.

Hella HID FF1000s

We also carry the Hella HID FF 1000s in a kit that bolts into the stock front fascia. They are made in a jig, and are pre-aimed. No cutting wires, no drilling, they bolt right up.

They are awesome.
