what exactly do u mean by a titanium body kit? you want a kit that is made completely out of titanium? if so, i'm going to venture forth and say 'no, such a kit does not exist'

No, it's just that he wants to rally, and is not very good....he dosn't want to risk body damage so needs extra protection.....

Okay, I think I understand now... After trying to decipher this, to my understanding, his mom is trying to say the the WRX STi is not a safe car because she thinks it won't do well in a crash, and thats why she's trying to get him to buy a "safer" car, like a volvo... well show your mom this:
Taken from MSNBC (click me for article)
THE 600-FOOT, high-tech highway has had a lot of traffic on it the past few months at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, as it continues to put popular new cars through its "offset" crash test. The Institute's mission is to keep insurance claims down by showing manufacturers safer designs.
In this round they tested three small cars — the Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancer and Volvo S40 — the Kia Sedona minivan, and a large pickup truck — the Dodge Ram.
All the vehicles are right off dealers' lots so they have passed all federal safety standards.
The Institute's test is much tougher. Analysts here score each one "good," "acceptable," "marginal," or "poor."
We'll show you the test results on these five 2002 models — but we'll also tell you what the Institute considers the best and worst of their class.
SUBARU IMPREZA
First up is the Subaru Impreza on its maiden voyage down this runway.
"This is what we want to see — the safety cage remaining intact, all of the crash damage confined to the front end of the vehicle," says Brian O'Neill, president of the Insurance Institute, after viewing the crash test video.
O'Neill and his staff send the Subaru Impreza to the head of its class. Not only do they give it a "good" rating, they make it a "best pick."
Later in the article they state...
VOLVO S-40
Next up is the S40 — Volvo's smallest car.
Volvo has staked its reputation on its safety. How did its small car do?
"The S-40 did pretty good in the test," says O'Neill. "It's not a best pick, because there were a couple of flaws in the performance overall."
Those flaws included a possible broken right ankle. But the Volvo S40 still earns a rating of "good."
hope this helps

its really disheartening to read people busting this guys chops on here when he is obviously coming to us with a concern of his. hes trying to type in english when its obviously not his native language. instead of bashing him, why dont y'all read it a few times and try to figure out what he's asking. give him some credit for being bilingual... some of you arent even proficient in english! :monkey: :monkey:

My guess is that it sounds more like a "roo bar" is what he's after. You know, those gigantic bars that the Aussie's started putting on their cars because they kept on smashing into kangaroos??
Something kinda like the pick below. Could you imagine that thing on a WRX???!!?! That'd be awesome!! Then I could take out the annoying neihborhood kids AND their mom's minivans!!!
Seriously, though, I don't think there is anything like this for the WRX/STi that exists.

Christ... some people can be so fecking sensitive on here... Live a little folks! His first post had nary a hint of improper english! :)
I definitely concur that the Impreza WRX has had some successful crash testing done, and is considered well above average in its class for safety. Do a search for a recent thread that shows a WRX that went for a bit of an off-track excursion and did a triple barrel roll. The thing was a wreck, but the driver's compartment was very much intact and protected.
That said... if your mommy doesn't like the STi she bought for you anymore and wants to buy you a Volvo, you're gonna have a hard time getting pity out of me!
deepbeep - who is not a native english speaker either.

If you followed the link, you'd see that it was to the company that armours cars for the military, president, rock stars, or anybody with a lot of money that has a reason to be paranoid. They also do "custom jobs", so I'd imagine if you had a wallet thick enough, they'd do anything you wanted them to.
Or did you just hit 'quote' instead of 'reply' by mistake? :)

What color is your car??
If it's anything but silver, the following idea might work.....
Just buy a silver front and rear bumper and pass it off as titanium.
