Bump! I'm stocked!!!Let get some names on that list!
| wrxplode | 06-23-2003 10:46 PM |
when u say painted to factory spec color.. meaning subaru factory? and, would it look like the picture above? for example, for blue, you'll have the blue and leave the c/f showing in the center?
| rdebow | 06-24-2003 11:44 AM |
Curious to find out exactly how this lip mounts to the front bumper.
Does it use anything else other than 3m two-sided tape to hold it on?
Or will it be utilizing the factory mounting holes with clips under the factory bumper to keep a little more secure.
I have the UK wagon lip currently on my car currently but I have always liked the V2 lip alot more.
But I want to make sure that this lip will stay securely attached.
Thanks.
Richard

It would be painted with to factory spec color code, using PPG paint and PPG automotive clear coat. Blue will have the same c/f showing in the center

2 self tape screws are included, factory mounting holes are pre-molded for those who wish to use them can. Mounting is similar to that of the STi lips where 3m tape are used in the center and two sides. O.E. Tuning's limited cf lip is actually lighter to mount and yet uses indentical mounting methods of the STi.

| natoli3 | 07-10-2003 01:05 PM |
one thing that I noticed on the wagon one is that the bottom sides of the lip tend to flare out a bit more compared to the sedans...can you please show some detail shots when you have a moment? thanks

the lip was a prototype and was only tested for fitment. If I recall correctly OE Tuning said that the lip would be more flush for the final production lip but dont quote me on that one. the actual prototype lip is off my car now and am unsure if they have any other photos.

Actual product would not flare out. The lip was not installed when the pictures were taken. Prototype lip was for fitment only.
More pictures will be provided once we get the retail version installed.
Thanks again for giving us this opportunity.
