Neh - I actually like fully badged trunk. Without badges it looks too empty.
And hey Zephir - what does sticker on the trunk signifies - "Please don't bump in the rear" or "Please rear-end me!" :lol:

It is a sticker my father picked up for me from Italy at a truck stop there. The direct translation is [I]Mind Your Distance [/I] so yeah basicly it's like the Yosemiti Sam Back Off mud flaps but 10x cooler. And don't worry it is on a magnet and it usually is on the car when it is being raced or going to a race.

I picked it up from a fellow i-cluber when it was still know as that over a year and a half ago after his car had an incident with a deer and a tree. Bits of his car made it to three other Tri-State BRP RS's. I'm not sure where to pick up the real deal from since this one just kind fell into my lap.

I didn't really care for the giant "S U B A R U" striped across my trunk. But I agree with others that think it looks too empty back there without anything.
So, I just left the WRX badge on. Best of both worlds:

"Your honda is my scooby snack" Got it made at a booth in the local mall. You could pick whatever you want engraved and the color of the frame. Total cost was like 14 bucks. If there isn't a place local to you maybe you could try an internet business? I think it was worth it!

To remove the keyhole, you have to take the whole thing out, and then putty it up, and then repaint it, is that correct? Is it really worth all the work, and how much does something like that generally cost?

It didn't cost me much because I was having other work done as well. They poped out the lock and mechanism for it, welded a piece of metal in from behind and then filled the remaining part and then painted it. It's a really wise thing to do if you live in an area where break-in's happen alot. One of my friends had his RS broken into 3 times through the trunk lock and then he finally had his lock shaved and no more break-in's anymore.

I've debaged every car I've ever owned, from Integras to Matrix's (or is that Matrices?) but for some reason I re-badged the WRX. I've got the IMPREZA badge with the WRX/Subaru badge in the stock location.
