Anybody else watch the Hill Climb on ESPN2 tonight? They spent alot of time on Lovell and Freeman. It was bittersweet.

why can't they ever show stuff on time ... I set my vcr for 8 to 9, and then I recorded a few minutes of some stupid baseball, and then it cut off during the interview :(

I only had 10GB worth of space on my HD... So, I had to rip this in sections.
The first section is done. I ripped it to a .wmv file & it is only 80MB.
I will be ripping the 2nd half tonight.

I'll try it at home and see how it is, but the video started skipping as the Group N footage started and from there to the end. This was at work on my work machine with a 1Gig P3, 256mb ram and TNT2 Ultra video card.

Well, I didn't ship the tape back just in case...
I think that may be a problem in the ripped video, not your machine... Is anyone else having the problem.
I will start ripping it again tonight, but only doing 15 minute segments... It'll take me longer, but the skipping should not occur.

I haven't had time to watch all of it but the parts I did watch looked very nice. How did you get 47 minutes of tape into only 120 mb and keep it such good quality??

I am glad this is working out for everyone. I only remembered at the last second that it was on and shoved a tape in because I was leaving the house. Awoland did all the hard work. No hurry in sending the tape back.
