I know this has been a topic brought up a couple times before but I did a search and couldn't find a good thread with pics. Especially interested in pics of an AVC-R mounted at the stock clock location. Thanks!

Mine is just like above. I used double sided mounting tape from Walgreens and stuck it on like above.

This is where it was. The Tuner-pro is there now and the Apexi was ebayed a while back.
what did you use to hold it in place (on the sides/back) thanks!
Nothing is holding it in place on the sides. I cut 2 holes in the din pocket about 1/2" back from the front that allowed me to slide the AVCR in. Its held in place because the lower hole is a very tight fit. On the sides I folded some small peices of speakerbox carpet and wedged it in there.

is there any way to block off the side gaps in the DIN pocket (i.e. plastic piece)?

I have no pics but mine is mounted on the center visor above the rear view mirror

I used some folded speakerbox carpet (cant see it in the pics) but you could put anything you want in there that would fit. Could try some foam and even custom fab your own covers from FG or plastic.
