Southeast Region Subaru Challenge Announcement!
ATTENTION ALL EVENT PARTICIPANTS!

We will definitely have a 2005 Legacy GT driving segment at each Subaru Challenge. Each registered Challenge driver will get a heat assignment at the GT driving experience pad. This will be for registered drivers only and will not be open to event spectators. We will have GT wagons and sedans in the rotation to drive on an abbreviated, but still challenging auto cross course.

Each event will also feature the legendary Subaru
Challenge elements such as:

Light dinner at the event hotel the evening before the event.
Free lunch and soft drinks at the event on Saturday.
A rally type door number placard for both sides of each registered vehicle. ( 12x12 this year to match up with the magnetic holders better.)
The official event bag with freebies that equal the registration fee paid by each participant.
Subaru Challenge specific trophies for the top finishers in each class.
The Super Star Challenge to end each event
A Subaru only parking section at each event hotel.
Lots of fun with your fellow Subaru owners.
And maybe a couple of other surprises.
Check out the Participating Dealer links for your event! It's these dealers that help make the Southeast Region Subaru Challenge Series so successful!

For those of you who have questioned which class the 2005 Legacy GT will be classed in by the SCCA. The SCCA is currently classing the car and has not released an official classing for the car yet. For the Subaru Challenge events, the Legacy GT will be classed in DS (stock class allowances) and in STU or SM for modified cars (depending on modifications).
Opie 09-20-2004 08:10 AM

The Southeast Region Subaru Challenge event #1 is in the history books! It was a wet but fun event, results to be posted shortly, Pic's up now: http://www.subaruchallenge.com/SE1/Results.htm

Next weekend is a Subie Challenge event at BeaveRun in PA. It's also a charity event for a local Autism research organization.

- dow
It will only show classes with people registered for that class so someone has to signs up for STUL for it to show up.
dowroa 10-11-2004 09:03 AM

Maybe I am just stupid then, as I have tried to sign my wife up for STUL, and there was no such class to pick from. I will recheck that then.

Thanks.

dowroa 10-11-2004 04:40 PM

They should be... I heard that Opie was gonna take care of that...
DrBiggly 11-01-2004 11:56 PM

The results are posted, but you have to put them together yourself. It's rather weird.

The class results are pretty clear; but in the challenge results, the names were put in by run order(I guess).
Rebellion 11-02-2004 09:07 AM

the challenge results don't list all the drivers in the challenge either.

Well I know Chris lindey had a DNF so mark him as 31 and I'm not sure about Chris Harp.
Rebellion 11-02-2004 10:01 AM

I think the prob is that the Chris's replaced Simon and Phillip but it didn't get updated in the computer.
GreenMarine 11-09-2004 11:45 AM

Hmmm.... Opie hasn't kanked this thread yet??? The challenge is good and over... UNless we still want to talk about it :)
