Surprise! Lovell/Solberg Signed Hoodscoop

I never expected THIS to happen! I came home from work today to see a box in the back entry from SCCA. Thinking it might be a jacket (that's a different story) as it's light weight and doesn't make any noise... moving around, I open it up... to find this: :eek:

This, to me, is just unbelievable to have in my posession. This is definitly going to be prominently displayed in the trophy case, right with the AutoArt #1 Lovell/Turvey car that I have in it.

You should get a hood from a rally car, sticker it up like the real rally cars and hang the entire thing on a wall somewhere.

Well, maybe not the entire hood, but an area around the scoop. I've seen someone do that with a door. They saved their company logo off a truck that was totalled. It was probably 4'x4" or something. Lined the edges with some door gaurd stuff and hung it on the wall. It looked really good.

We did something similar at a friends place years ago. He ended up laying down his racing bike at the track one day, and later we collected all the pieces.
For a birthday gift, a bunch of us drew an outline of the bike on one of his walls, and hung up the various pieces in the proper spots. It actually came out fairly nice, and was quite the conversation piece in years to come.
Having the scoop on the wall with an outline of a hood, perhaps with the windshield going into the floor, would be pretty impressive.
