Tinted or clear sidemarkers?

Definately tinted. :cool: Those would look awesome on a silver rex. Where'd you get them or did you tint a clear set yourself?

Actually, I think that is the difference betwen the white clears and the grey clears. Sorda like an old Vs. new pic.

As for the color, the tinted is like, that on the rear tailight section on the WRX wagon in the US. and the clear is like, the clear plastic section on the rear tails for the sedan WRX in the US. Does that make sense?;)

If you are having a group buy I would be very interested only on the tinted one (the one on the left of the pic) but without the oval ones.

I've owned both they aren't "Tinted" they are the same clear plastic against either a white or grey plastic background.
I do like the grey backed ones better on my Silver WRX, the white ones stuck out like "Uncle Ben's"

tai those tinted/gray corner markers are almost PERFECT for my silver rex!!! PLEASE tell me how i can get some! what i've been looking for is someone that makes crystal clear markers w/ chrome inner housings to match the headlamps, but no luck so far. just keep me posted.

I just won a set today off ebay. For $50 I don't see you could go wrong. I'll post some pics of the corner lens sometime next week when I get it installed.

Hmmm...some people have used TINT SPRAY they bought from a store and just sprayed the outside of the stock sidemarker.
The light will blink white though, you can buy a orange bulb.
Or just let it blink white.
What you guys think about this?

saw these before...
the ones on the left are called smoked and the ones on the right are considered clear. thats what i got when i ordered "clear"..sure the reflector is clear but if the back plastic is white then its gonna look white...wish i knew that before i bought them...anyway i saw the "smoked" ones on vivid once..and they also have the "crystal clear" which looks like glass side markers but i haven't seen crystal clear side indicators.
why don't you guys do this (with the side indicators) take the reflector off paint the back ground or stick cf sheet on it glue the reflector back on....see how it looks...had no time to try it myself...
