To Wing Or Not To Wing....

that is the question.....
I have an 04 wrx in JBP and i have the cusco front lip/underspoiler.....i also have a FMIC....my question is that since i have all of this going on in the front of the car....what about the back?? should i go ahead and grab myself an sti wing or stick with the wrx one???

I would love to go wingless but i dont have the money to get another trunk and i can't find anyone that is willing to trade with my color (JBP)
Also i don't like the look of a wingless trunk with a hood schoop....except on bugeyes!

I'd stick to the smaller one if you can't go wingless. But it's a matter of your taste, if you like the STi wing go for it.

My vote would be a replica STi/S202 spoiler. I have one on my JBP 04.

Your car would look pretty sweet with a STI carbon fiber rear spoiler (also known as the S202 spoiler). I had one on my old WRX and loved it.

not too much of a fan of the s202 spoiler....ill keep that in mind though....i just feel like with the lip and fmic they create an imbalance to the car as if the car is leaning too much forward....

you cant even see the fmic soooo. just take thee wing off and pluc the holes and you have got yourself one [email�protected] lookin car. oh and clean the wheels up :)

Check out the Mines rear lip spoiler. Low profile and probably still provides a bit of downforce (not much though).
I'd rate the options:
1. Rear lip
2. Wingless
3. WRX spoiler
4. STi spoiler
But then I don't like gaudy non-functional stuff and that STi spoiler is pure show 99% of the time. Unless you always happen to be driving at 100+ or doing sharp turns at max grip at very fast speeds...

Although if you can't find anybody to trade trunks/hoods, your car looks good right now IMO.

I know it's just personal tastes and opinions being thrown around in this thread, but I really dislike this idea.
It's like ordering pork-fried rice, but only with pork and rice, no vegetables. You're taking away what makes its taste good/look good.

Keep the rex wing, get a reverse scoop or a CF hood and then get new rims and clear yer headlights, IMO.

dang i dont know about new wheels....i happen to love these wheels!
As of right now i am planning on getting a wingless trunk and reverse hood scoop....my taste just keeps wandering around and i can't seem to stick to one for more than a whole day....

maybe a CF trunk?
it actually looks really good as it is right now, I'd recommend swapping decks with someone for awhile or trying out a CF trunk and seeing how you like it
if you don't you can always switch back ;)

I drive very fast. I want something that looks slow, not like cop bait. Looking slow is worth (IMO) at least 10 mph before attracting undue attention here.
I came very close to the bottom-end EVO instead of WRX, simply because it looks like nothing but a Lancer. If there had been any in town I might actually have done it.
