POLL: Help me pick a wing for a GC8
hey all i can't decide whihch wing to get for my GC8. The two choices are the STi Version 5 and the STi Version 6 wing. I know that there isn't a major difference between the two but i just wanted to get my fellow i-clubbers views on what wing to get.

I prefer ver V to ver VI, i think the 6 rake up too high
I actually like my Prodrive wing the best :)

o yea i forgot to ask but how much do each wing go for?? i found a couple Version 5 wings on ebay for $199 (unpainted), is that a good price for it??

v5 all the way, the v6 is way to high it just doenst look right. here is the v5 on my car. and actualy i am looking sell it so i can get the 22B with CF center part to go with my CF hood :D notice how the top deck on the v6 in sloped more

is the 22B and the Version 5 wing the same...except for the ver. 5 being two piece and the 22b being adjustable??

I have a RB5 Prodrive replica sitting in the box waiting to be installed. I really like the looks of the RB5 but if i had to choose between the ver. 5 and 6 i would probably choose the 5 since it isnt as tall.

I have the Ver.5 on my car, but I would love to trade it for a RB5 wing though. That's my favorite, but I got a great trade for the Ver.5, so I went with it.

The Do-Luck one is fugly...just like my buddy's table top spoiler on his nice Civic..it was nice looking before he put that damn spoiler on.:(

If you have coupe w/ Ver. VI wing you have a Lipless STi Type R Ver VI.
If you have Coupe w/ Ver. VI lip w/ Ver. VI wing you have STi Type R Ver. VI.
If you have sedan w/ Ver VI wing, you have STi Type RA Ver. VI
If you have sedan w/ Ver VI wing and Ver. VI lip, you have STi Ver VI.

Ver VI wing has that angle effect at the very end/tip of the wing. The Ver V wing is just flat on top. The Ver. VI will give a little more downforce/stability at speeds.....

edkwons car with rb5. IMO, rb5 and 22b are the best. ver 5 is alright while ver6 is ugly and that doluck and sti wing are hideous.

And I prefere low spoilers... Best one for a GC8 ive seen in person is the Syms spoiler. Saw it on Byrons fabled mythic 11 second 93 Impreza, and on Andrew's car.
