Wheel Choice

just wanting an opinion...i have an 05 CGM wrx that i am going to be getting wheels for the two that i am deciding on are Advan sa3r's or racing hart cp035's let me know what you guys think...advan would be black with polished lip and racing harts silver!

i'd go with the racing harts. i personally think those advans only look good in gold on a rally blue suby. my two cents though. your choice in the end.

RACING HART CP035 looks nice imo... but ADVAN SA3R don't look as common.. at least in my parts of town...

I would avoid the Racing Harts, as they look just like Rota Subzeros to me. If I'm gonna have someone call my wheel a Rota by accident, I'd rather have it actually be a Volk, Advan, or Prodrive.

no offense man (and im glad for your opinion) but rota sub zero is the replica of this wheel..the cp035 is forged and a very expensive wheel to which now is also becoming pretty rare.. i will be paying over 1k for a used set if i decide to go with these! back in their day they went for about 1800 dollars new (as price doesnt really matter to most the quality of racing hart wheels should) . and many volk and advan wheels have rota knockoffs so that point is moot...i guess i dont know why prodrive wheels were thrown in the mix although nice wheels they can never stand ground to any of the other wheel manufacturers formentioned by me or you on this thread! :)

If you want sa3r's you will have to find them used, they are not being made any more. It took me over a year to find a good (non curb checked) set for my miata. Advan is now making the sa3 v2 but it does not come in black. Racing hart just came out with a black 3 spoke you shoud check out called the s3.

I say the advans. I will be putting sa3 v2's on my sti. They give the car a time attack look. Its your car so do what makes you happy, you are the one that has to drive it.

I don't like either of those wheels on Imprezas (someone post a pic to change my mind), but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Advans, although I'd rather see those on an FR Nissan.

i am a fan of the advans, but after seeing all my friends with dents and dings from street driving, i would say that the harts may do better. i don't have any friends with dings and dents on their harts. the harts seem to have a stronger rim than the advans. do both wheels come in the proper offset and size for your subie?

yes i found a set of suby offset advans at 50+ 17x7.5...and the racing harts are 48+ offset 17x7.5
