Where can I get good mud flaps?

Hi,
I'm looking to get a set of decent blue mud flaps for my STi. I'd like some heavy poly flaps, but anything other than those palstic "universal" flaps will do.
Any suggestions?
The $900 CAD STi flaps from the dealership aren't going to happen either.

I rock the prodrive rally flaps myself(250,but I got them for a song)
AZP is selling rallyarmor flaps for about 100.

I got Prodrive mud guards that I think look great on the car. They're a bit expensive at $170 though.

Dunno if the molded Prodrive ones would fit the 05' STi, but those are the best ones IMO that have been released for the Imprezas.

The prodrive rally flaps(not the molded) will not fit a 05.

OEM for the impreza work fine on my Rex, but you'll need to do some scribing on the fronts.

I use RS flaps, Dremel'ed the fronts to fit. With a little black silicone caulk they can look like they're integral to your sideskirts.

If you want to make your own, and save some money, NAPA sells blank mudflaps for about $20 a pair. Only 1 small cut was needed to be made and they look great.

They are making them in Red and Blue, material is black with blue or red logos. Not sure if there is enough demand to have a batch mixed up of blue material as they need to make about 300 sets in the base material.

Scoobysport NA will have some out in September that look pretty sweet. Nice and small, streamlined, and pretty inexpensive.

GC flaps will be out about 2-3 weeks after the WRX ones ship. We have confirmed that the WRX flaps work on '02-05 WRX and STi including the '05 STi.

rally mudflaps always look sick when viewed from the rear of a GC or WRX, but once i see a side or front angle it kinda turns me off. i know i know, it's all about the paint though. bleh :p

If you are handy, go to a tile store, buy any color of vinyl tile. Do it yourself by following intructions from northursalia.com

Yup you can do that, however you'll need to re-do them once winter comes since vinyl tiles are not made of a compound for extreme cold/outdoor environments. I know the RallyArmor ones are made of a special compound to resist cracking under extreme hot/cold and UV enviroments.

The original STI ones cost really crazy exp ... but thats also because the material is really hard to imitate ... you want something that isn't too hard for fear that you be dragging something along with you all the way ... for example if you accidentally run over something unsightly that has been left on the road ... the hard mudflaps will either drag it along ... or scrap some parts off. You wouldn't want one that is too flimsy ... that is why most WRC cars stuck with the polyutherane ones ... tried tested and proven.

I finally recieved my Rally Armor mud flaps. They arrived with all the right hardware and were pretty easy to install. Us STi guys have to do a little more work but when all was said and done the flaps were square and looked great.
Little miffed that Rally Armor had so many delays, but all's well that ends well.

There's also the Scoobymods.com parts-store mudflap mod, too. It was created by a few guys in NESIC, about four years ago.

yeah.... my "2005 STi hood scoop screen" was a big piece of metal screen and the "mounting hardware" were 4 tiny zip ties. It was kind of pre-cut in the shape of the scoop. By "kind off" I mean it may as well have been a rectangle given how much I had to trim it to fit. Maybe I was expecting too much but I don't think I'll ever order from them again.

The ones shown by UKjon are from the UK TRU product range.

The actual mudflaps are manufactured from the same material (Kaylan) by the same company as the Prodrive mudflaps, yet are to the original STi shape for optimum protection.
The TRU mudflaps from scottlowe have been in production for 4 years and over 2000 sets have been sold Worldwide.
They arent cheap but are less expensive then the Prodrive flaps and also contain everything you need for fitment; brackets, fittings etc.
I have some on order for my own car

i say make your own.. cause then u can customise the height u want the from the ground... mine occasionaly scrape the ground... one draw back is that during winter months in heavy snow u can bck over them and pull ur bumper right off the car.. hehe.. but at least u know they are attached well
