what was in the road that the subaru hit? it didn't look like there where too many big rocks in that clip . maybe a piece of wood. or another car part?

That was a decently large rock. When they went back and looked at it, it was about 8-9 inches thick and around 18" across.

atleast thats the best way to go of course, cause its had nothing to do with driver error. Looks like it broke a control arm then maxed out his suspension by the fender damage.

That rock ended one of Petter's best rallies. It was painful to have to keep watching that over and over while doing the editing.
He was absolutely beating Loeb into the ground until then. That would have been the 1st time in a long time that he took a rally win.

thats what i want to start doing. its the perfect mix of my college education (media and society major) and my hobby motoring. Im going to mount a bunch of DV cameras in the best motoring style: feet, dash, driver, front, back, then run time attacks on fun roads =D

I'm guessing that you're asking why I haven't done linkin park yet.
The answer would be: I probably will eventually. When choosing a song I really listen for a good beat, the feeling that the song portrays, and the lyrics. So far I haven't done a video that fits with a linkin park song... yet.

^I was joking as the Po video montage of (IIRC?) the entire 2003 WRC season was that "In the end" Linkin Park song. It was a great video and song for that time period.

May I actually make a suggestion of a song? I know it's going to sound bizarre, but check out "jerry was a racecar driver" by Primus- it was off of their Sailing the Sea of Cheese album. I've never made a video before in my life, but I can seriously envision a lot of potential with that song. It's relatively short, has a TON of potential (IMO) for scene changes, fast pacing, good beat, relates to car racing, etc.

Sorry guys. The amount of visitors I had this month was crazy... It won't be up again until Nov. 1st. I'm going to have to limit it to 3 videos at a time in the future.
BTW, for the cost of a blank DVD and shipping I'll send you a DVD copy of my videos. I have no interest in making money off these, but they look sooo good on DVD.

You should look into using bittorrent to help distribute the videos. Should reduce your bandwidth utilization a lot.

I thought about it. But I'm not sure my videos are popular enough to ensure enough seeds. Its definately a possibility though.

Anyone else who happens to either be downloading at the same time or leaves their client seeding will be gravy.
Otherwise there is google video, but the quality once uploaded usually isn't very good.

Well I found a new host that gives me 300gb transfer per month for $6.95/mo. The site shouldn't reach its bandwidth limit for a long time now. I had 100gb on my old one.
