555 emblem...yay or nay? (Pics)

Should I keep this aluminium 555 emblem on the trunk? I just put it on...and I think it makes the trunk look too "busy". Although the emblem itself looks :cool:. Yes or No?

Wouldn't look too busy if you debadged the S U B A R U. Would actually even out the WRX badge.

the right angles of the badge don't really work well. place it somewhere else...just to the side of the license plate would be better i think.

How about putting it inside the car. You could put it by the gear shifter, like where people put the 5mt shift pattern sticker. BTW, is it a 3m adhesive badge or magnetic? If it's magnetic, then ignore my idea. :lol:

I like it because it's tasteful to me. If it was the size of half the car (Like the rally car), or you had like 20 of those little emblems on on every flat surface on the car, then it would have to go, but It's small, and doesn't call much attention to it.

22B is also the hexidecimal for 555.
22B =555. B represents the value 11. so 22B breaks down like this: 2x16 + 2x16x16 + 11 = 555 or... 32+512+11=555 :D

Not a big fan of cigarette companies as three of my grandparents have died from it and my last girlfriend tasted like an ash tray when I kissed her. But I'd lose the 555 because I don't think it looks that cool. Not as cool as this:

Take it off. Also take off the Subaru name. If you want a more balanced look get the small "Subaru" JDM decal that goes next to the lock cylinder. You can find it at fastwrx.com.

I've seen a different 555 emblem that looked way nicer than that.. anybody know what im talking about? It looks like a cut-out plastic emblem rather than a square sticker-emblem like the one shown here.

That's where mine is. I bought this same badge off eBay back when I had my RS and just didn't like anywhere I was considering putting it on the car. So on my fridge it is to stay. I haven't even though about putting it on my WRX. Don't think it would work with what I'm going for.
