My 18's should arrive tomorrow, I already have the tires, but I might have to wait for the lugnuts to come in... I will post pics for you as soon as possible.

the tires are kumho exsta 712's they are 225/40/18.
The rims are ADR Sokudo, They have a 42mm offset, so I am worried about them fitting. I guess that's what wheel spacers are for.
And no the car is not lowered, nor do I plan to do it any time soon, I have the wings west body kit and I'm already worried about scraping.

i will have the sti ver 2 front lip, and i don't wanna lowered the car for now, so i'm wondering how it looks like if it's not lowered

Hope your able to get those 42 offsets to work, I have 45 on mine and when I got les schwab to put the tires on and such, the guy said they barely fit...but again, thats what wheel spacers are for :)

i have 18" prodrive p1's....catch is they're sitting in my garage until i have the motivation to put them on :o
i have seen pics of imprezas w. 18's on stock ride height, they look like monster trucks. the sooner i can afford tein s-tech springs the better.

how harsh is the ride if u lower the car using any kind of spring?
is it worseeeeeeee than stock, or only worse a bit than stock?
my wrx is my daily driving car, so i don't really wanna make it a harsh ride

I have 18 inch rims and my car is lowered with the eibach pro-kit springs. The ride isn't THAT much harsher, but you definitely feels the bumps more. As for 18's on the stock ride height... I was going to leave my wrx on 18's with the stock ride height, until I saw what it looked like. Put on the lowering springs the next week. It looks horrendous IMO with the stock ride height...

I just put 18" Superleggeras on last week with 225/40/18's and I have the stock suspension. I will be taking pics this weekend most likely. It looks great to me, I still cant figure out why some people say it looks so horrible. :confused: Maybe the wheel style makes a difference or something. I asked the guys at the wheel shop and my girlfriend, and they all agreed it looked awesome as is... when I asked them if it looked funny, they said "not at all"... I also have the V2 lip and I'll have the blue sideskirts on probably Saturday... so I'll get some pics for you soon. :) I'll lower the car eventually, but I'm not planning on it any time soon...

Here, I found a pic of jasin_s's car on clubwrx with 18"'s and the stock suspension. Sure, it could use a 1" drop or something, but I don't think it qualifies as "horrible" or "terrible"... looks fine to me :)

This is the best side pic I have right now. Again, this is with 17's and stock suspension. I will have pics of the 18's this weekend (along with blue sideskirts).

pmartell- your car looks awesome with those ADR's. i woudl suggest however, leaving the center caps off! on your last pic with the center cap off on the back wheel, it looked better

Well, I wouldn't be able to answer that question. My car is strictly a nice weather weekend toy thats driven once or twice a week. I don't even drive it when its raining. :p
