Looks like Photoshop! Look at the top and bottom LCD's in the spedo. Also the fuel and temp gauges vary too much in color.

Thats my opinion. I could be wrong.

That top photo is to show the difference between stock green and my blue!!!!

Now the bottom photo, the only thing green is the clock... but I'm working on that as we speak...

To those of you who didnt knock my work of art (everyone but leo) I'll tell you how to do this. (trust me, much easier to buy) It's an easy thing to do, just time consuming to get everything right.

I want all of you to know that this is still in prototype phase.... I'm still working out kinks with my design... I want you to know that I will not sell if I dont work out the kinks. OK???

I'm not trying to knock you, but why did you color the second pic of the odometer blue? Was it just for visual effects?
I know for sure you cannot change the color of the odometer without getting a new LCD.

Also,
Did you take the two pics at different times?
Was the top one taken when it was only partially done?

I'm just curious but it does look really cool. I just want to see it on someone that has white faces to see if it looks as good too.

Aspen, yes the first pic is of partially complete to show u the drastic change between stock green and my blue...

The ODO simply has my blue material over it I didnt photshop it at all [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img] So gimme some props [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif[/img]

Also, I have a MY00 it has white gauge faces.... when you take a pic without flash on... you only get the light that is visibly being shown...

JGard... I have done the climate controls in Blue also [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img] looks tight...as for the stock clarion stereo and CD havent worked on that yet....

I WANT TO REMIND EVERYONE!!!

I am in prototype only... I have experimented a lot and messed some things up... I dont want to tell you or sale to you something that will mess things up... OK??? But please keep showing interest in this..and I'll work things out more clearly...

AND.. my new easier to install..design will probably not change the ODO color...but will change the clock's color [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img]

I'm working hard for you guys... but I cant do anything when I'm in classes all day on campus...

EVERYONE SHOWING INTEREST--READ

Hey everyone... here's whats delaying my process of going from my own prototype to production....

Here's the thing... All this is is simply cutting out the right piece of material that will fit behind your gauges... Thats it in a nutshell!

The tough part is actually making the piece without spending your entire saturday doing it! thats where I come in... i have the set template in which to cut all this. (sorry... not giving it out, and I'll keep a record of who I sell to so they dont pass the template on) though I dont think any of you guys would do that, thats kinda wrong [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img]

Well once that piece is cut... getting it behind the gauges is the hardest part... It will give you an anyurism! My my material needs to be doubled (2ply) to create the kinda blue that I posted. the second piece is easy..its getting the first in! Because the clear blastic behind that green rubber has spaces in which you can't see, you have to move the plastic several times before you get it to fit where you want it behind the gauge...this problem occurs primerilly on the speedometer...the tach isnt that bad... and the gas/temp is easy...

Well my fist version used one big piece that would go for both the tach and the speedometer... well it got behind there, its what you see in the pics... problem is though... the gauge rubber (green stuff) somehow warped!!! this severely messed up my speedometer... it now sticks while I'm driving along... the tach and gas/temp...were just fine. Luckily I'm under warranty and SUBARU is being nice to me, I get a new gauge plate in about a week or so. ( I asked.... it only comes in green)

That brings me to another point...yes green is good on the eyes...but c'mon! the RS's aren't even made in green anymore! Why not have gone to blue or red? JESUS!!

So this is why I am not yet prepared to sell or even give it away... I dont want to be the one to sell you stuff that helped mess up your rides! I have respect for anyone who bought the RS and I dont want to be the topic of dissing conversation and known for bad stuff.

As of tonight I have developed part of version 2.... the gas/temp is the same as version one, but instead of making one big piece for tach and speedometer... I have made 2 separate pieces... the tach still slid in perfectly... though i need to redesign it... but that that damn speedometer is still being a pain... I have one more week with my messed up speedometer before SUBARU takes it back... I am determined to make something that you guys will be able to simply slide in behind your guages...

No one is working harder for this than me... as I'm sure all of you do, I want to have perfect blue gauges to go with my interior...did you guys see the pics of that??? my car just looks odd with all that blue paint in there and green gauges!!! HA HA

That's weird...I would think it'll be harder to change the clock color because of it internal LCD color, not the ODO. Anyway, Bank, I give you your props man. It takes alot to use your car as a guinea pig for your sake of a mod and for the sake of others..at least those of interest. I always wanted to change the color to blue but didn't know where to start. Not to mention lack of time to experiment. I'm definitely interested once you complete your mod. Count me in and keep me posted...I'll be looking out as well. And for all those critics, instead of boosting the brotha', you decline yourself to step on others just to put yourself first.
