Hey slackers, Silverstone predictions?
1) MS (new-spec engine, even faster Ferrari...please)
2) RB
3) JPM
4) Kimi
5) DC
6) Ralf
Kimi is flying, and I think will drive quite well. JPM will finally finish a race, and do well. DC will be inspired by the Silverstone crowds, and Ralf will continue with his stretch of weirdness.

Don't think so, they are not participating in practice sessions...who knows maybe they will come up with cash by Sunday...
Oh yeah and predictions go something like this:
1 - MS
2 - JPM
3 - RB
4 - DC
5 - JB

They passed scrutineering this morning, made the deadline by 90 minutes.
The only session they HAVE to participate in is the qualyfying saturday afternoon. If they dont make that then they are out of the race.
The hold up now is tehy have to pay cosworth 4.7 million dollars before they are allowed to run the engines. Tom is having a chat with Bernie to see if he can spare some pocket change for the weekend. :D
It's not looking good, but if you know Tom Walkinshaw you know what a tough nut he is, if anyone can find a way, he can!
Only prediction i have is i wont be watching it. :D:lol:

I really hope the Ferrari engine has grenade-like tendancies! I don't want anyone to get hurt or anything, I just don't want Schumy to win or even get a podium finish. Somebody should put some sugar in their fuel tank!

Predictions: Ferrari 1-2, who cares about the rest. Isn't it time F1 started to cut some of the dead wood...whoops, that amounts to about 4 teams. I think that the mega talented Alex Yoong will probably sneak 3rd - if he can buy off the rest of the field. Get that STIFF out of F1 and back in karts where he might challenge for a place sweeping the pits. Eddie Irvine - for God's sake retire. Jaguar, sorry Ford - either commit the $200 million it takes or pack it in.

I watched Speed Channel's coverage and Alex got about 7 seconds on camera. Ride buyers in F1 have never done much except keep struggling teams going for one extra season and eating through $10 million of daddy's money.
Hey pops, buy Alex a WRX and 2 days at Skip Barbour.

that was one of the more exciting races in a while...the battle from fifth to tenth was quite good and finally the BAR boys got some points...4th and 5th. The changable weather help them out a bit, but they also drove a good race, no mistakes on drivers side, pit stops went well and their Honda engines did not blow up.
JPM and MS had another good fight for few laps and then what a drive by RB...from last on the grid to 2nd.

Thanks, OTG! What a fun race that was. Rain is always the great equalizer, and it was really cool to see BAR get TWO cars in the points, which will make Honda deciding to support their program completely next season, despite Jordan being the better team on paper, seem not quite as lucre-driven as it in fact is.
Rubens...what a drive. Granted, he had a superior car and the rain helped a lot, but he positively scythed through the field. Montoya was driving like a man with nothing to lose. I'm sure he was having a great time out there, and his post-race press conference comments were a riot.
Michael, meanwhile, just drove off into the distance, with nice tunes playing on the Ferrari's in-car CD player. He could effectively clinch the title with a win at Magny-Cours. I say effectively, because Rubens is now No. 2. If Rubens finishes second, the title won't be clinched really, but please...
What in the hell was McLaren thinking? Wrong tire choices, hinky fuel rigs. I think that Ron Dennis is hitting the pipe. I know that they have the same meterological data as the rest of the teams, yet they stayed out there on dry rubber!
Michelin had better hope for dry weather for the rest of the season. The Bridgestone intermediates are scary fast, compared to the Michelins. The Ferraris drove by JPM like, "Uh, pardon me, I have somewhere to be."
Two good races in a row, and judging from the air horns, etc, Michael's winning was a VERY popular decision at Silverstone.

Would've been a great race if it had stayed dry. How about JPM's fight with MS early?! That was great! Once the intermediates went on it was bye bye Shuey! The Michelins were obviousely the weaker tire. How about JPM's ballsy pass of Ruebens when they went to dry tires?! That was cool. Too bad he couldn't stay in front. At least he was on the podium at the end.

Damp Race = Fun Race!

Ralfie - I haven't seen anything from Ralfie... he had a tough race today, I think he got eaten by a Renault or two in the opening dry laps, then maybe he experience a "McLaren style" pitstop where things went wrong, and dropped down the order. But his car just didn't seem to be fast enough to enable him to pull himself up the grid.

BAR - ...had their own heliocopter flying which provided them with weather information, which proved to be spot on. Playing the weather correctly is what landed Juan on the podium, but there was some luck in his case, because he was going to come in for the wrong type of tires, but Ralf was in the pit box having some sort of problem, so Juan stayed out and yakked w/the pit wall about which tire is smart while the weather changed, and they realized that the tire Juan was running is bueno, and he just stayed out and drove.

Men In Orange - Heinz drove very well, he was faster than the BAR cars, and would have finished ahead of them, one spot off the podium until his Cosworth blows. Bernoldi drove well, and then his Cosworth blew up... Makes one wonder, did Tom's $4.75 mil check to Cosworth bounce? ;)
