That looks almost like one of the mid 80s GL10s, with a lot of work done to get it rally ready of course.

It's a Justy (the front plate is a *raging clue*). Google isn;t showing up with 'Hafner' and 'Hegsbro' as results anywhere... nothing. So, good question on any info regarding it.

GBL Bildeler is a new and used car part retailer in Norway.

Since that looks like the only "real" sponsor decal on the car, you might call them. How's your Norwegian?

A mse nce bit my sister. No realli! She was Karving her initials on the mse with the sharpened end of an interspace tthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian mvies: "The Ht Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mlars of Horst Nordfink".

What rock do you guys live under?

It's a full tarmac spec NU-KU-LER Super Justy, obviously.

We tried building one of those at our shops, but that damn STI motor just wouldn't fit.

4wdwrx 12-06-2006 10:50 AM

ralliharri 12-06-2006 10:50 AM

Someone post a picture of a Golf dash, or a Justy dash.

I don't know - I'm very old these days - maybe my memory is going:D
LastResort 12-06-2006 11:36 AM

That's a Justy. Why would they put STi on a golf?
BlkWRXWag 12-06-2006 11:38 AM

I'm going back to my cave - carry on:o
QuikWgn 12-06-2006 12:59 PM

I saw it on a DVD of the Gatebil 2006 track day event in Norway. They interviewed the guy and his 2 sons, but its all in Norwegian and unfortunately besides English, Spanish, or French, I have no Norwegian language skills. It's obviously a turbo conversion of some sort (unless the intercooler is for show) and I was thinking that a WRX or STI motor swap trans, diffs, and suspension could make a unique and extremely fun budget project(totaled WRX + used Justy=cheap!). I mean if you did it sleeper style like black powdercoat the intercooler, put it behind a mesh grill, catless since the justy is old with a Borla Hush, and roll on stock WRX wheels you could dish out much enjoyable embarassment to your challenger in a 300HP 6spd R180 diff'd Justy!!!
gpatmac 12-06-2006 06:24 PM

ha ha ha...cool.
PerformanceAutoSolutions 12-06-2006 06:39 PM

think they are using the ecvt on that??? lol
davis10 12-06-2006 09:00 PM

look at that center consol

that aside i think its a cool ride

It's a Justy people. And, up until recently, Justy's could still be had new in Viking land.

in the"][emailprotected] in the 1/4 mile sure isn't shabby but I thought it would be faster...I have the person who uploaded the video I watched(who speaks Norwegian) translate it for me..."Okay..seen it now(my translator talking about the interview), he is just talking about the widebody kit and rims, 1.2 L engine with standalone ECU and WRX stock turbo and a FMIC, it is a car he built for his sons! No real specs or anything. There is gonna be some more footage of this car in a movie called Gatebil on ice, but release of that is about 4-5 months."

Speaking of Norway. Did you ever get a chance to see that Gatebil festival? Some of the sickest displays of Audi's and Cosworth's I have ever seen.
QuikWgn 12-08-2006 12:17 AM

I have both the movie disc and the bonus cd!!!
Subaru_555 12-08-2006 12:41 AM

No, the only car show I'd be interested in attending is Vallkra, but frankly, I think standing around looking at cars standing still is for the birds. Cars look best in motion.

Ya at Gatebil 70% of the cars are turbo'd. Every things from Saabs, Volvos, Porsches, Japanese drift cars, Cossies, Audi Quattros all ripping up the track with enough smoke to kill off the spectators. Yep, cars a meant to be driven and bagged to hell!
Nargaredama 12-08-2006 05:20 PM

Almost everyone in Norge speaks English. Contact the sponsors and go from there.
DetroitWRX 12-08-2006 08:37 PM

Well Ebay has a Justy for sale right now. The WRX motor will not fit at all?? It would be very cool sleeper they look worst than a Geo Metro.
SuperRallyRoo 12-08-2006 09:31 PM

JACKIE CHAN IN THE CANONBALL RUN!!! That was a factory turbo ea81 hatchback heh. Subaru made it for that movie I guess.

That is perhaps one of the most badass things I have ever seen!
I want a Justy and I want it to kick ass!!

It needs a big ol' STi wing on it to keep the butt down though .... now that would be sweet!
