does everyone use this image to shop their kits?

Nice. Although the front end is a little too much for my tastes.
TOUGEwrx 03-02-2006 02:08 PM

i like it!
yo-japan 03-02-2006 02:38 PM

stylish and functional. significantly increases downforce on the front end while allowing for a large front mount intercooler.

Wow that front bumper makes the 06's look a lot better. I never really liked the 3-section grill in front.
topend 03-02-2006 10:08 PM

The first one has too large of an opening, plus where are you supposed to put the foglights?

Second one just looks like a porsche, boring and ugly

I agree. I almost want one now ;)
Repsoul 03-03-2006 06:01 PM

I think it looks good, but I think a front mount needs to fill that fat ass gap.

1. That's why we should have HID...

2. It's not that bad... looks more like an M5 than a porsche IMO
mrwrx2002 03-04-2006 01:19 PM

i like the first ... very aggressive

littlewhitewagon 03-04-2006 03:35 PM

Dang, everyone always posts those pictures up and dreams about them. The Zero Sports kit is close to 1700 retail and the Tommy Kaira stuff usually sells for about the same.
WR^2X 03-04-2006 04:17 PM

And? Plenty of people can afford to drop that kind of cash on a body kit. Hell, if for some reason I had to buy an '06 instead of an '05, I would have budgeted that money to make the thing look decent, instead of spending it on power mods.
littlewhitewagon 03-05-2006 06:56 AM

Plenty of people can afford to drop that kind of cash on the body kit? How many of these kits have you seen on the street? ZeroSports, Tommy Kaira, C-West... all expensive brands that people will buy knock off's of. I'm all for buying real parts, but I can't buy any of these parts. Damn wagon....

But my point was that everybody posts something with these pictures every 2 days thinking its something new that nobody has seen before.
senortighto 03-05-2006 07:20 AM

tell you what, I think that if one took out the mesh parts of the grille, so that it appeared similar to the zerosports car, that is just the outline of the alfa grille, then it would achieve the desired effect of looking pretty hot, but without the drastic change that the actual zerosports front bumper cover would bring.

but then again, I'm drunk, but I ponder some pretty damn decent stuff when I am inebriated, so yeah, take what I say with a shot of whiskey ;)

[Rant]

Because you are a ricer.

Subarus have never been the best looking car. I'd drive mine if it looked like a brick.

[/Rant]
WR^2X 03-05-2006 09:20 AM

I am far from a ricer. I just think the '06s look like a$$. My '05 has no exterior mods besides the usual: Debadged, removed the grille pillar, cleared headlights (with proper colored bulbs) and JDM fogs.

  Yeah, the "usual,"

Ricer
WR^2X 03-05-2006 11:24 AM

All of that stuff looks good. And you've talked of debadging, tinting, and getting purely appearance-related wheels for your car. I suppose none of that is rice to you? Your definition of rice leaves me surprised that you even bought a Japanese car.

It could be worse... I could have wanted Morettes.

hahahah I bet :)

hijack much? back on topic please :)

I like the m20b kit, takes that... segmented look away from the grill. Deffo what I would want. (if i had an 06 that is :D )
RLMs_Rex 03-05-2006 12:30 PM

This style is too far from the normal aggressive styling of the subies. I prefer something a little less LOUD. The grill is just too much for me... but thats me.

Dude, I guess you sarcasm detector was off. Your're right, I gotta bit of ricer in me as well. Even looked at some Morrettes for a bit ( I stress a bit). I'm debadged and would like some STi splitters and V-limited lip that'd look hot. Anyways didn't mean to upset you, just playin around ya know. Hence the

And if you're gonna research someones history you should get it right. The "purely appearance-related wheels" were for the Leggy (my wife's car.)
